GoNintendo images!

Hi! Long story short, I used these as an enticer to get some friends of mine to bring some GoNintendo Podcast questions! Well, now that Rawmeat contacted me about them, the cat's out of the bag. So, I'll just go ahead and give them all to the community they were made for! Use them however you'd like and ask for requests if you want! My friend, Outlaw Moogle, got me interested in the podcast, and I just want to help and contribute to the best of my abilities. If you're the slightest bit interested, here's my latest personal batch of signatures that I actually put some time into:

nice work man... i noticed outlaw with the nifty sig right away, and then suddenly 3 or 4 other people. i was like "wtf?" where are these coming from? i could track them to a website where they were all hosted, but as for the actual source/person.. no dice. mentioned it to rawmeat, and i guess he tracked you down, huh?

anyway, welcome.. and again, great work!

AWESOME WORK!!!! I thought I saw cool sigs somewhere...
I made sigs for people on forums a while back. But now I have a mac with no art software on it. Sux for me.

Btw can you make me a side-sig with my friend codes on it like yours?

A challenger has entered the arena...

Just playing with stuff. It doesn't follow the theme because it doesn't have a sharp, thick, and black border. Artifacts are more prevalent because the image is one full image, as opposed to be broken up if were ever used.

great work! one request.. can we use thumbnailed images instead? anything over 600px wide is too big for the boards, and should be a link or thumbnail. when we start having a large multiple of images, thumbnails are necessary. thanks in advance

Wow. All your stuff is amazing, except for the GoNintendo sigs. Not to insult you, but those just look like close-ups of pictures with the same logo slapped on them. They look very half-assed compared to all your other stuff.

By the way, I'm using that Metroid wall. That one rocked.

No offense taken... Ya, I didn't give you the whole story. It's over at Warp Pipe, where I made these intended for one-time uses. Throw-away sigs, if you will. It took more time finding the image than to make two sigs. But, surprisingly, some people did like them, but wanted some without logos. There are minimalists out there that don't need 6 brushes, 20 layers, 9 masks, and 3 layers of text for a good sig.

And I personally like the fire Kirby one. >,>

I just have to say, out of all the sigs I really love those Kirby ones. I can't put my finger on what makes them my fave, but they def are. I think I could stare at them forever...and I will!

Here's a logo I'm working on. I want to make an entire set with other characters/series, but I want to get the design right first. BTW, imageshack seems to destroy my image qualities now. :/

Well to be critical, I would say that the screen shots where outlined to much, they should "float" into each other I think, but that may only be me :wink:

On the other hand, everything else where great!

Maybe you should make many banners where you have different themes, such as Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong etc, so when you log on to Gonintendo you get a different banner each time (well you get a random banner)

Just stay with the same layout on the other themes, if you plan to make those.

What about a simple banner using the existing one with Peach, Mario, Luigi and Toad, but put the faces of Rawmeat, MotherBrain, JohntheSavage and myself? If I were talented enough with that stuff, that is something I would look into. If anyone makes any sigs using Nintendo characters but our faces, I'll definitely use it. :-)

By the way, All the existing designs are great. Everyone keep up the good work!!!!!!

Personally I think the Zelda theme for it is very nice. The green is a nice touch since its Link's color (Microshaft doesn't have a patent on green or anything!

). Maybe you should cover more of the area of the banner instead of just that shape. And I like your font for GoNintendo better than the one thats used right now.

Overall I thought it looked cool but as you probably know its impossible to make something perfect

theres always going to be more that can be added.
