I was just reading Serebii when I stumbled upon something that hasn't been discussed, the POKEWALKER

It's a pedometer you can put one of your many Pokemon in, and as you walk it grows in level and happiness, you can also play minigames on it and meet wild pokemon, it sounds like a really neat little addition.

It is like Pocket Pikachu right? I wondering how Mystery Gift work. I mean, we used infrared laser in our Gameboy color. (I guessing it is a way to sell Gameboy color for Pokemon fans.) Like serebii or other sites say will be using wireless connections but I still wondering if we can do Mystery Gift everyday by connecting just like the original.

yeah, mystery gift was definitely the best in G/S/C, I hope they do it like that.

I'm such a geek. I got Platinum on the LAST DAY of the Secret Key event just to get it and stay in the loop for these games. I'm one badge away from the E4.

The Pokéwalker is a nice little addition. They basically want you to train/play with your Pokémon anywhere, anytime. Not that you can't almost do that with the DS, but training while excercising sounds nice.

Can't wait for this.

It's actually been confirmed that you can get the Kanto and Hoen starters after beating Red on Mount Silver. In addition to catching Groudon and Kyogre, You can also catch The three legendary birds of Kanto, Mewtwo, and Latios/Latios.

I know this slightly off topic but someone on another forum said this(about HG/SS japan import)"I think Heart and Soul are bad remakes because I can't use the SAME STRATEGY guide as the originals" Isn't that STUPID? because there's new pokemon,moves,2x battles,iteams,ability,etc.
That means He wanted them take out ALL OF THAT and just play the same game with better graphics!

Back on topic I pick heart gold (I'll still get both) because I like ho-oh better, and gold is my favorite color (2nd green,3rd black,4th blue)

I can't wait to get this game can't decide which one I want yet though I'll probably see which one my friend plans on getting and get the opposite so we can trade to get the pokemon that are exclusive to each.

Can not wait!! Gold and Silver were my favorite. So many great Pokemon, and not to mention returning to Kanto! Also, with improved graphics, new things to do, and Wi-Fi, this could be the best Pokemon game yet!

however, Nintendo has invited GoNintendo to an event next week to preview these games (is it two games?), and since i'm already in SF, I get to go!

since i am a blank slate, let me know if there are any pressing/important things anybody wants me to look for or ask about. no guarantees on q&a, but your questions will probably be much more insightful than anything i could think up...

^^Serebii has almost all the info about the games already so I think if people really cared enough they would already know everything. There still might be some stuff though.

Personally I don't want to know to much, so it is a surprise as I play through the game.

Everyone seen the teeny tiny bit of Gameplay? Looks like your starter follows you around like Pikachu did in Yellow. That is a nice change, I loved that in Yellow!

I was a POKeMON fan since I was 4. Believe it! I had RED,BLUE,YELLOW AND SILVER. I loved YELLOW best because Pikachu (my favorite) followed me! SSSSOOOOOOOOOO... I totally can not wait for another game like that! (were did u get ur username pic?)

I dont know but I dont remember those islands being in the original and i think they were created to catch johto pokemon also. I cant wait to Catch Ho-oh in my future heart gold.
