According to Shigeru Miyamoto, they use Mario to introduce gamers into new genres. I normally would play sports or racing games, but Mario games have never steered me wrong.Jaden wrote:y is there all these mario games now...like mario is playing every sport and dancing...........i mean come on hes cool but hes a plumber? lol

i checked out the video clips (high-res, since i'm a subscriber) over at IGN, and while some of it seems cool, i am a little disappointed with some of the secondary graphics/character modelling. keep in mind i was a computer animation major, so i notice things like this, but where the mario and main character models are superb, the piranha plants and their pipes look worse than if made for n64's lesser hardware.
but maybe the game wasn't finished when those captures were made--i hope. it's comments like mine above that cause me to withhold my own creative work until it's totally finished.

i hope they bring out an adapter for the ps mats to get onto GC, cos i fdint wnat to have to buy another two mats...
