Hey, everyone.
If you've at all paid attention to my ScrewAttack account or YouTube account you've probably noticed that I've been tinkering with a lot of experimental ideas. I just can't leave my passion for gaming with text alone. Since I can't produce quality video like Rinry and JOT can without the proper resources, I've decided that audio would be a better venue to look into.
My idea for a podcast (not exclusive to Nintendo content) is essentially this:
Instead of a bunch of people in a room discussing events and the like for one or two hours, each podcast would be more like a "capsule", maybe 10-30 minutes about a specific topic, whether current or not. The format can change with each segment: "Single Player" if it's just one person's opinions (basically a blog but in audio form), "Multiplayer Mode" (multiple people's recorded opinions strung together), or "Co-Op Mode" (multiple people having a recorded discussion, either in person or over SKYPE). Then there'd probably be "Versus Mode" where two people debate two different ends of an argument.
Like I said, the important thing here is that it'd be split into smaller chunks based on focused topics. Yes, the idea comes from BitMob's Mobcast, but even then, that podcast consists of 4-5 topics in a row, sometimes they blend together. This would be one topic at a time.
The thing is, I'd want reader participation! Incorporate you guys into the conversation!
If you want an idea of what this podcast would be like from a Single Player perspective and have played through BioShock 2 (or don't care if it gets spoiled), check this out:

I'd like to produce something this weekend since I won't be able to review a game. If you're at all interested in sending a written e-mail or recording your opinions, please send them to my e-mail address at
D3stiny.Sm4sher@gmail.com and answer the following questions:
Thoughts on Nintendo's announcements? Release dates they revealed?
How do you feel about The one-two punch of Galaxy 2 and Other M this summer? Good idea, bad idea? Will they regret it come the holidays, or do you think they have Zelda lined up for the ultimate Nintendo trifecta in a single year?
What did you think of the gameplay we've seen of games from the summit? (I know this footage won't be out much until later today/tomorrow)
Be sure to include the name you'd like to be credited for.

I still don't have a name for the podcast, just the different types of segments, so ideas for that are welcome, too.
Lastly, I don't know of any good places to host a podcast, whether for downloading or easy streaming, so feedback on that is appreciated.
Thanks for any ideas and support, and with any luck, we can get a community-focused, topic-based podcast off the ground!

Can't complain about that!
