interesting test... you into 3d? i've been interested in making a 3d model of the revo as well.. i'm digging where the reflections on the red one is going!

the fan has a sort of swastika feel heh. let me know if you need a hand with some 3d stuff!

actually it's my first 3d project.. never really had the time to get in to it before:( For the rev model I turned to a friend of mine at first, but as his work progressed I couldn't resist trying it for myself...

I noticed the swastika look, but it's an exact replica of the revolution patent image so i'll leave it like that
The reflections are turning out quite well but can change drastically when moving the viewpoint just a tiny bit...

Well, I finally got around to putting the signature template I made to use, albeit admittedly half-heartedly. I'm not feeling very well today. I don't know if you'll like them or not. If you don't then that's fine. If you do, then I'll make some more with different characters, games, etc.

I plan on making a wallpaper... but I want to wait until I actually feel like putting some work into something. I want it to look exquisite. Especially with all the well crafted wallpapers that Eraze has posted.

everyone else: the images in this thread aren't just for gawking at... download and use them if you like 'em! use the sigs, use the wallpapers. i'm surprised we haven't seen any custom avatar work so far!

Oooh, I wanna contribute!

Some of you may know me from my well-known Wii models made of cardboard/posterboard. I've run out of stuff to compare it to, so now I've just been taking pics of them for various purposes. Here's the first wallpaper I just threw together:

Go easy on me. I'm still learning with PhotoShop and I have little artistic abilities.

The Go Nintendo wallpaper isn't bad, but the logo needs some work.
I would search for a font and do it from scratch within Photoshop.
You can make your own oval shape around the logo by making a rectangle - filling it with a solid color, making two circles with only half of it sticking out over the square - fill it in with a solid color. Do this all on one layer.
Next use the magic wand and select the image. You'll see an outline.
Go to select - modify - contract. Adjust the pixel amount untill it looks right. I can't give you a number because I have no idea what resolution you made the original in.

I think this should make the wallpaper look much better.
Maybe my instructions are a little hard to understand. LOL

anyway, of course the logo he used is no longer the gonintendo logo, but i do have that one available in vector/illustrator format, and a layered photoshop file, along with the gradient effects. of course i also have the new one available in vector format since i created it from scratch for those who don't have a vector editing program, you can get a raster/bitmap version via the thumbnail below:

usage guidelines: the spaced logo (tv scan lines) is our primary logo. however, at small sizes, pixel-based applications tend to render it quite unbecomingly, so a solid version is available for those times where the logo is too tiny to render properly on screen. all printed media must use the primary logo at any size. all efforts should be made to use the primary logo first. a solid colour is preferred, but not necessary. white, red, or gray-tones are the preferred colours, but you may explore others if your needs dictate so.

We're looking for a reviews banner (or two, three, etc.?) to use as the banner to go along with our reviews instead of the standard EoD one.

this is a dead thread, i'd be surprised if any of the links still work. the size, logo, etc are all going to be terribly out of date even if the links are alive.

the reason the links aren't clickable is that we upgraded the forum software and the plugin that used to automatically make thumbnails didn't come along for the ride. you'll have to copy/paste the URLs to see them.
