Suikoden: Tierkreis

Has anyone played Suikoden:Tierkreis for the DS? I bought a DSi yesterday (traded in my Light finally since it was having trouble keeping a charge) and decided to pick up this game. So far, I'm loving it. It's a great little portable RPG that has a pretty good story. Combat isn't anything fantastic, but it passes the time. Curious to see if anyone else played it and what they thought. No spoilers please.

Not played it, but I've heard it's very good. Have you played any of the other Suikoden games, and if so is it necessary to in order to enjoy this one?

At any rate it'll be awhile before I get round to picking it up, Disgaea DS is sucking up a lot of my time these days.

Great game, indeed. Best soundtrack on the DS, hands down, as well. I really enjoyed the game, even though it was nothing like the original games. The reboot of the franchise was well done, but I doubt it sold well enough to get a sequel.

I agree, it was a great, little DS RPG. The atmosphere is fantastic and best soundtrack on DS is right. An aspect or two of specific design were terrible though, notably the equipment management system.
