Just saw this news over at another board and thought I'd run over here. Very excellent price.
There's like....two other games at 700 points, and one of those is still my favorite WiiWare game.

Hope you don't mind if I tell RMC. Might as well mention this topic while I'm at it.
EDIT: Someone beat me to it. Shame. I'm sure he isn't even aware that a Legendo team member is visiting the boards.

Ep1 no, the development time to implement the MP aspect would've delayed us. We ARE however going to add it to Ep2 or 3. The engine's in place now and fully optimised for Wii hardare so further episodes won't take as long to develop and as such, we'll be able to set time aside specifically for the MP design.

Just minutes ago I was thinking "Hey, Monday's coming up. Wonder what surprise we'll see on WiiWare?" and what do you know, one of the games isn't a surprise at all.

Though for some reason, I was thinking this got pushed back a few weeks....maybe I'm just thinking of another WiiWare game.

Wasn't it Furry that was set back? I could be wrong, I'm rather groggy from my hayfever meds and can't think properly:)

Bless you Inkies, thank you. I thought as much it was but wasn't in much of a state to do much investigation. Hayfever and the summer combined's a killer for me:(

Back on topic, Pearl will be hitting the US shop very soon! :)

Legendo can you give a rough estimate on how long each episode is going to be. I know it's kinda hard to judge episodes 2 and 3 but just give a guesstimate.

Less than an hour left, I'm pretty pumped!!

Hiya, sorry fiendishly busy for me atm.

It really is dependant on the player's skill etc. I'd hazard a guess at 6-8hrs, with replayability. Now obviously there's going to be some people who plough through the game at a faster rate and some who take their time:)

Right now I'm using the classic controller because I could only play for a short bit and I knew I would learn faster with the classic controller, I like the controls, I think they're very good! Later today I'm going to try the wiimote/nunchuck combination, might do the single wiimote control scheme later

I like the game so far. At first the red dots didn't appear and so I was like "How will I know which are the enemies?" but then the little tutorial thing got to the part where it talks about how to tell who is an enemy and I was all good

Edit: The gameplay I can't accurately judge right now since I've only played for like 20 minutes but what I played was pretty solid

Thank you:) We've had nothing but positivity, we're so happy and proud of what we've achieved.

People are drawing comparisons with Rogue Squadron; a welcome comparison indeed!

Hi Dan from Legendo,

I purchased the game as soon as I saw the most recent photo's of the game on Monday on GoNintendo. Legendo did a great job with the size limitations of WiiWare. I'm quite impressed by the visuals in the game. I REALLY enjoy air combat games. You can check out my Steam account which I go by the same ALIAS to see what other games I own as an example.

Having said that, there is one thing that I'm not quite sold on with the game (yes I know I own it now so no going back ;). The controls aren't fully realized IMO. I would have loved to have been able to bank left and right using the right analog stick. It's a pretty common feature in most air combat games so I was a little surprised to see that I can't do that in this game. That means NO STUNTS... at least no quick bank or manual loops. Also, I'm not quite sure why there is such a quick leveler response on the up/down controls. I expect a little more floatyness to the up/down level off in flight sims.

Please put banking left and right into the next 2 games. It will vastly improve the play control. Also, I'd suggest your team makes it more obvious in the game that classic and gamecube controller is supported. The motion controls add an extra level of difficulty.

Thanks for working on this game! I'm heading back to my TV to continue playing it!

@DarkNight_DS thank you for your kind comments. I think we'll go for some more aerial style moves etc in part 2, if this sells adequately:) Glad you grabbed and enjoyed our game.

@Inkies19 Hang on in there, glad you're still loving the game sir:)

Dan, have you had the opportunity to play Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces? Hadn't had much time to play Pearl Harbor recently but I thought 700 points makes for a safe impulse buy. A couple missions in on the U.S. campaign, my prayers for another prop plane flight sim on wii have been realized. I've played Sky Crawlers a total 6 times through since it released. It would be a crime of poor taste for it to be the only good flight sim on wii given the excellent motion controls it displayed. My respect goes out to you and everyone at Legendo. By the way, Torpedo Cam... simply beautiful
