BlankCanvas wrote:I'm actually really hyped for this game. While BO is a strong contender to compete with C2, I'm leaning towards C2, due to things like 4-player online co-op and PDP Headbanger Headset compatibility being available in C2, and not in BOWii.

Goldeneye will not, but BO will.

The information I hadn't heard starts being told around 5:10. The level of character customization is described near the beginning of a video and appears to be extremely detailed from how it's described. There maybe other little tidbits of information in there that I missed.

Striker Jacen wrote:Things that would convince me to buy this game:
1. A miracle
2. some actually decent graphics. The first game sucked HARD. I know that the Wii doesn't really hold its own against giant processors like the PS3 and 360, but the gamecube pulled off RE4 towards the end of its life and it was INCREDIBLE!!! other wii games like galaxy have amazing graphics and if a 3rd party can do that for an FPS, then I'm all over it
3. Tight controls. Metroid felt like a rock-solid FPS and the movement of the gun felt and looked natural. Compared to that, The Conduit felt like I was playing with a pool noodle toy. The cover was bad, the enemies were not imaginative, and...I dunno what else, just left a horrible taste in my mouth
4. Story. Please, just tell somebody with some manner of talent for writing fiction to work with the rest of the development team to get a story that is compelling and works with the mechanics. And voice actors, please hire some good ones. Let's put Nolan North in it, he's in everything now

Players now have the ability to flip over tables to use as cover,
and shoot off enemy armour and helmets to expose weak spots.
Motion controls are used for opening doors and flicking switches,
and a sprint button has been added to allow players to charge or flee from opponents.
Levels are less "corridor-based" in design, but are rather more open with multiple pathways to explore. The game's story unfolds during gameplay through triggered scripted sequences instead of through cutscenes as in the first game. The game retains the customizable controls from the first game.
Locations
The game will be set in Atlantis as well as Washington, D.C., Agartha, Siberia, the Amazon, England and China.
Weapons
The game will feature boss battles against large aliens,
...a mobile turret that can be picked up and moved to different parts of a level, and remotely fired from behind cover,...There will be a gun that places controllable turrets.
as well as the Phase Rifle; which is capable of firing through walls.
Some weapons will be customized.
The only update on bombs (for now) is that the explosive grenade will explode on time, not impact.
Various weapons and devices will return from the first game, such as the All-Seeing-Eye or ASE which is a device that is used to scan objects for use in a data-log, unlock doors and force fields, discover hidden traps and enemies, discover hidden unlockables, and have other functions similar to the visor in Metroid Prime.Multiplayer
Along with a standard single-player and multiplayer online modes, the title will feature a four player split-screen multiplayer with offline and online modes. The online element will feature "increased security" over the first game to prevent hackers. Bounty Hunter mode will be returning from the first game,
as well as a new Co-op mode which will feature "Invasion Mode", in which players will combat waves of enemies, either online over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, or on the same console in splitscreen mode.
Another feature added is the ability for players to revive fallen teammates.
The game will introduce different character classes, each with unique attributes, and allow the player to alter their characters appearance as well as unlock over 30 suit upgrades that bestow the character with special skills, such as robotic legs let the player to sprint greater distances. Players will be able to switch between two different character classes during the course of a match, each with different player defined weapons and upgrades.

There are metal/aluminum tables right?
Still bullets in real life can pass through metal cars (if your using a rifle of course.)
As for laser...They are freakin lasers what can you say.TheGreekDollmaker wrote: Great more waggle.Look atleast if there is an option to change from waggle to using bottons i will be ok.Just to make it mantatory for every single freaking door.
The game is now supporting Classic Controller Pro options, so button presses will work.
Great didnt know that. You can disegard this point than.As for the other "criticisms"? you had, you can name other FPS games that Killzone 2, Crysis, and Halo borrowed things from before them...but that doesn't mean those games are bad games because they used functions that were in other FPS games, so I don't see the point of nitpicking those options, because they are being included.
