Nyko's "Wand" controller? (compared to the Wii Remote)

I'm thinking about buying a Nyko Wand as a second controller (because it's more affordable than the official Wii Remote).

I have a couple questions for those of you that have one:
How is the quality of Nyko's controller?
Does it work as good as the official Wii Remote?

Either one. I just want to get an idea of how good (or bad) the quality is compared to the official Wii Remote.

I've heard good things about Nyko's other products. I know the emphasize on quality, which is rare for a 3rd-party accessories company.

Have you ever used it? What can you tell me about it? Specifics, like how are the buttons? The precision of the pointer and motion controls?

Is it just a carbon-copy of the Wii Remote? Or is there something different about it?

they use one of the older ones without the motion plus at my local play n trade.. they've been using for a while now.. i think they would've stopped using it if it was any different because they have smash bros. tournaments with it. i used it when i played the conduit in their store last time too.. worked fine to me.. but i didn't use it very long.
ill ask them how good it works when i go down there again.

The D-pad blows and the pointer is pretty sensitive but otherwise it's a pretty good controller. It's also the best 3rd party Wii controller I've used.

I have only tried it out over a friend's house, but it worked pretty good as far as I could tell. Obviously the quality is not going to be as good as the official ones, but you do save a little money.

i talked with a few people and they all had different opinions about them.. i would pay the extra few bucks and get the official one.. besides, it will match the one you already have
