I don't think people understand how annoying sports nerds can be. They're also the most violent of the fanboy groups. (Even more than music nerds.) Then again it seems like I know everything about video game fan boys, so I'm used to their stupid acts.

I would have to go with I love fanboys, they have true passion! cause I'm a fanboy of a lot of things with video games it's obviously Nintendo with movies it's Star Wars and with music I'm a metal fanboy I love metal music!!



But all fanboys are annoying one way or another cause they do have passion for what the love cause they express it in different ways.

Sports fanboys can be pretty annoying but I can't judge too much. I have many things that I "fanboy" over too, so I can't get mad at someone else for being passionate about something.

Out of all the people I've met, video game fanboys are the worst. I can deal with sport fanboys here and there, but really, when you meet video game fanboys in real life, it's a very scary thing. Ugh.

I agree. I'm a total 100% Nintendo fanboy. I don't own any other systems and I have no desire to. Now, does that mean that I think all XBox 360 or PS3 owners are stupid? or that I hate them because they aren't 100% devoted to Nintendo? No, of course not. I happen to enjoy Nintendo and I don't think I would get as much enjoyment out of the other consoles so it's my decision not to own them. In my opinion, yes, the Wii is 'better' than the 360 or the PS3. Why? Because that's the system that I enjoy. If you love the 360 or can't get enough of your PS3 - awesome for you! I don't think any less of you because you don't like Nintendo as much as I do, so don't tell me I'm stupid for not liking the 360.

P.S. If you couldn't tell, I only quoted threshold's comment to build off of. I'm not directing my comments at him in any way (or specifically anyone else, for that matter).

I believe the apple/mac fanboys are the most insane and annoying. If you've ever been to MacRumors forum you would know what I am talking about. It seems like everyone there is never satisfied. Even with stuff that doesn't matter, everyone on that website has some snarky remark or something against what apple has done. When itunes put out Beatles on itunes, everyone on there went on an "i hate beatles and no one should have the choice to buy their music on itunes" tangent. Apple fans ALWAYS overhype scheduled events and complain about it to everyone afterward. The community over there really pissed me off so much that i have stopped going, even though i DO like apple products and software.

I'm not talking about an apple user's smugness, though i guess that can get annoying.

Video Game Fanboys. Though I'm a Nintendo Fanboy, I don't show it. The only thing that annoys me is other Nintendo Fanboy's.

There's only one reason why I picked this: Most of them are like 9 years old. So yeah, no need to say more there.

I'm sure we've all experienced a 'nerd fight' between them and we can relate.

Sports fans don't bother me at all, I'm one myself. I don't see why being over passionate about a certain team is a bad thing.

I voted for video game fanboys. I mean, it is OK to like video games and all, but when you are so obsessed with a particular company that you have to bad mouth the other ones you are going a little too far. You should have also included Apple Fanboys on your list. They can be pretty annoying as well.

omg this. a few weeks ago, the city of san francisco was more or less shut down from all the fucking d-baggery being conducted.. .over fucking baseball. really? riots about winning the world series.. for the better part of a week? BFD.

i don't care how annoying v-game fanboys are.. there is no way they would ever cause shovel like that. oh, and to all the people who were involved in that nonsense here in SF... f you. right in the f hole.

I'd say Apple and Sports fans (seriously watch the South Park episode "The Losing Edge" it explains it all perfectly). Videogame fanboys are also bad (I'm a Nintendo fanboy but I don't bash the other console makers unless Sony says something really stupid about Nintendo. )

The worse type of Videogame fanboys IMO are Sony fans, Sonic fans, and Final fantasy fans.

Though I'm going to say another that's not part of the polls, GLEEKS! UGH!
