Mobile Forum Theme

I've installed (after breaking the forum 8 times) a more mobile-friendly theme for the forum and would like opinions.

Just visit the GN forums in a mobile browser and the forums *should* detect you're not on a PC browser and automatically switch to the mobile theme.

Let me know how crappy it is or if it doesn't work on your iWhatever.

Nice job. Is there any way to make the top left button take me back to where I came from instead of the top level forum of that specific post? I almost exclusively browse the forums using the "Show new posts" command and having to back up all the way to the index and then tap back on "show new posts" might get old after a while.

It works on my Android phone! It's pretty cool and simple to navigate, which is awesome. Will you be able to add avatar support for it?

Probably not. It's pretty much a "as-is" custom theme I found online. It's main purpose is to use up as little data as possible (hence, no avatars, etc). I am up to moding it slightly if I can get the time to figure out how it works.

The theme's mainly designed for the iPhone/Android browsers. According to Kolma Opera Mini works decent with it. Anyone with a BlackBerry?

As for the avatar explanation, it's alright. I can live without it (but you better find a workaround and I'll <3 you forever).

Yeah the Mods-only forum is set to always use the theme. The rest of the boards is for now user choice.

It's pretty damn ugly.

I enjoyed scrolling through the original forum on my Iphone, but now I can hardly tell who is commenting due to how bare everything looks.

Please reject this idea.

I'm going to pass on the mobile forum theme as phpBB standard themes generally are light anyways for loading up on mobile. So I have no need for a specialized mobile theme for these forums as long as phpBB is the staff's software of choice.

Well, it's not 100% pretty, but it works in the BlackBerry browser well enough.

I am planning on adding a "View full version" link on the main mobile page for those who like the full version on there iCraps.

just a note that we seem to be running into some strange errors on the admin side with this mobile theme, so it is currently deactivated.
