I stayed in line to meet the DJs at my local "alternative" radio station, KROQ, one time. It was at a Best Buy and they had one area where you can wait in line and another area where you could see Linkin Park, before they were famous, playing a free concert. So what do I do? I get the KROQ DJs to sign my calender. Sweet.

waited in line for a couple hours once to see the band Korn back in 98'.. they signed some cd's for me.

Depending on how long the line was and how much I really wanted to meet that person. Would I wait in line to meet the president? No. Would I wait in line to meet Paul McCartney? Yes!

I went to a symphonic videogame concert last year, and I stood in line to get Nobuo Uematsu's signature <3.
He signed my friend's drivers license and wrote "Don't drink and drive!" on it. It was awesome, as was the concert.

That's the only time though .

The only 2 "famous" people I would stand in line for are Shigeru Miyamoto and Matt Groening as those 2 are legends.
