Basically, you get 6 cards; 6 different games, and can do different stuff with them thanks to the 3DS cameras. We don't know all 6 games announced yet. (I don't think) Hope that helps a little.

Yeah, Kid Icarus, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Persona, Dead or Alive... So far I've been really impressed with some of the games being announced. If the actual lineup at launch is really strong I'm going to find it hard resisting - despite the fact I actually will have no money. XD

$300 is a lot of money for a hand held.

I'm going to wait it out till maybe fathers day, or my birthday to plea for my wife to pick it up for me. That is if I find enough content to keep me busy, if not, I'll wait till Christmas.

I'm actually considering getting a DS since the price of the lite has been lowering a little. Might get a 3DS when the 4DS comes out. Which come to think of it, i got the Pocket less than a year before the colour, the gameboy advanced less than a year before the DS. And looks like i'll repeat it again.

Go with the DSi. You can't play GBA games on it, but you can download games and apps (sorta like the iPhone).

i like being part of the midnight release events (idk why) so i'll camp out if i have to. i haven't anticipated a system/console/portable this much since.... probly EVER.

every other purchase for me will have to be pushed back a few months (at LEAST)... if it's as pricey as i'm anticipating it to be. it'll be worth it though

This seems like a must-have for me. (after all, who could pass up Paper Mario?!?). I never owned a DS (but I did borrow my friend's a couple times to play some games that really intrigued me), and therefore it seems only right to pick up the backwards-compatible 3DS. I did the same with my Wii... I never owned a GameCube so I played some games I missed on it... like Tales of Symphonia and Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

Already pre-ordered at Gamestop, $100 on it, and gonna add $50-75 sometime down the week hopefully. Selling my DSi at Gamestop when I pick it up to make up the difference. Gonna try to get Super Street Fighter 4 3D if I have the money (and if it's a launch title. Considering JP gets it on launch, we should be good). Soooo getting it on launch, even if I have to camp out over the weekend.

I was the 3rd person to preorder at EBgames. The augmented reality games are enough to get me excited, though none of the launch games catch my interest. Plus I want to be sure to have one for when OoT remake is released.

I'm going to pick one up on launch day (March 25th for me, I live in the UK.) I've had it preordered since preorders began here in the UK, and according to GAME, I'll definitely have one at launch! The only bad thing is that I'll have to wait till after school to pick it up
