It's already got the coolness of an iPod, and the functionality of an....well, a DS. so the Lite is more than enough to last a bunch of more years until the next generation of handhelds.

You most definately aren't "whiny" because the same thing happens to me. After playing for a long time (for the past week it has been Castlevania: PoR), the corner of the Lite would start digging into my hand. I would try to reposition my hand so it wouldn't hurt as much, but I always found myself going back to the original position. Other than that, I really like the DS Lite design. I got my Lite for my birthday in September and have really enjoyed it.blueger wrote:Happy_Cloud wrote:I think they've got it perfect now, so they don't need to make a new one.
Not to be whiny or anything...but the bottom right corner of the DS Lite hurts my hand after playing for a while, especially after some intense snaking in Mario Kart Wi-fi.... But these are really just minor flaws, and the DS Lite still continues to sell like crazy. So as of now I see no reason to make a new one.

Theres definitly a market for that. Heck, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm surprised no third parties came up with one of these by now.
