Okay, I really stink at this kind of stuff, but here's my weekend banner submission regardless. I couldn't think of anything better to try my hand at first than Earthbound - one of the greatest games of all time. Here's hoping my next entry is of better quality. To my defense, all I have as an editing program is ArcSoft PhotoStudio. Oh well. I don't think there'll be any banner, however, that can best the one for the message boards. I love that banner. Anyway, here's my simplistic, lame-o entry (even though I do like it)...

Is it just me or are my colors messed up? (They weren't in photoshop)

very nice... i don't see a problem with the colours. i was hoping someone would take a more traditional stab at the scarface art!

again, thanks everyone for their submissions.. we seriously have a giant pool now, between what is posted here and what has already been sent to me. i had expected maybe 4-5 people to post soemthing, but i've received DOZENS of entries in less than 24 hours! as in...a whole year's worth of banners!

please don't be discouraged if it takes awhile to get to yours, and just because we have a lot doesn't mean you can't enter more. unlike the podcast questions, banners aren't posted on first-come, first-served!

Here's a nice banner for the latest Zelda game. I had to recreate part of that hourglass because the only image of it I could find was covered in text, so I had to fix it. But I think it turned out nicely.

The game 'No More Heroes' is still a real mystery. What is this 'freedom' they speek of? What do you do besides beating up Assassins, and more interessting: "How are we going to control this game?"
There isn't a lot of buzz for this title, maybe the hype could grow a little, when this banner wil decorate the GoNintendo site.

I've been playing the megaman X collection lately, I'm getting addicted, I love those old games so I decided to make a gonintendo banner for it. Okay, this one's rather basic and not much better than the Earthbound banner I submitted awhile back, but here's my shot at a Metroid banner regardless. All of the games from Metroid are represented, though pinball is rather hidden by the logo.

I really need to invest in a proper editing program, however, as it took me a heck of a long time to create this rather simplistic banner. I still kind of like it, but it could definitely use some tweaking. Oh well, it'll have to do. I need to post this thing now so I can feel at least some sense of accomplishment!

Hi everyone, I'm new on the boards but I've been visiting GoNintendo since a year before the wii launched. I love this site its always my first stop when I want nintendo news or good opinions on related topics. I thought I'd start contributing to the fan art scene here so I've done a banner & wallpaper for Mario Strikers Charged. I know its metroid(the 28th can't come soon enough) month but everyone really seems to be enjoying strikers. I'll try to do a metroid banner later this week, until then hope you guys enjoy these.

after some testing, i found it can work quite well in our layout, so have at it! just make sure the filesize doesn't get too unwieldy, and make sure users have a way to click back to the main page, since i can't manually hyperlink a SWF file.
