Hey, podcast crew (and welcome, Comanche). Short-time listener, long-time fan of the site. Just a couple of things.
First thing: Cort, I think it was, last week, mentioned that it would be neat if Mario Kart on Project Cafe could connect with the 3DS as a rear-view mirror. I think the PS3 version of Ridge Racer did that with the PSP! Just thought it was worth noting, even though it's a neat idea.
Secondly, onto my question. I had the first comment on the post about the rumbling of Project Cafe, and I scoffed that Game Informer, of all people, was breaking news on it, because, let's be honest, it all sounds pretty unbelievable. Anyway, sorry about that, but is it just me, or does the screen in the controller seem really... bizarre? Nintendo is pretty good at making bizarre concepts work, but do you think that this one will have legs, or flop? It seems to be an opposite strategy from what the Wii came out with, which got them a lot of success, and a couple of years down the line, the PS4 and Xbox 1080 Snowboarding will launch, either adapting the touch screen controller if it's a success or pass it and simply have a more powerful machine if it's a failure. Are you worried? And are you worried for the 3DS?
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions, and if you didn't, well, shame on you. Love the podcast, guys, so keep it up.
