this game is coming out real soon and i am very excited for it. most everyplace that has played has given it very high reviews. i know it is only single player, but i hope the game is going to be long because i want to spend 60 bucks on a good long game. i have played the demo on the 360 and on my standard definition tv it looks amazing. my friend with and HD tv said it was the best game hes seen graphics wise on his tv. are any of you excited about this game and are going to buy it on opening day?

I played it as well and it's great. It takes forever for you to play the game at first, but when you get there it's worth it.

Yeh, i just played the demo and its freaking awesome. The first part when you were dropped in the lake with the fire around you, i thought that was still a cutscene because the graphics were so damn good, and then i realized that i was actaully controlling it!

I don't have a 360 or a PC good enough to run Bioshock, but I did happen to watch a guy play for three hours today on a webcam. He, uh, bought the game at TRU when they accidentally were selling it yesterday, *cough**cough*.

I can honestly say that it looks incredible graphically, and the gameplay seems to hold up as well. Oh, and Big Daddy fights are even more intense than you think.

I just played the demo on my friend's 360, and the game ownz.

Definitely a must buy.

I played the game demo on Xbox Live and I must say the presentation was amazing. Not just the beautiful graphics, but the way that the city of Rapture was revealed to you.

However, when it got down to the gameplay I wasn't very impressed. It wasn't that fun for me. It seems to me like it has a case of "Prey-itus."

I'll certainly give it another play-through though before I delete the demo.

i cant imagine this game being as good as everyone sais. now i'm not saying it might be bad, not at all, i'm also excited to play it. but so many website gave it a perfect score, like 10 out of 10 or 100%.

and i cant take any website serious which gives a game the perfect score, as no game is perfect. so i'm not sure what to think.

i'll just wait and try the demo and decide by myself. my main-comparison-game, of course, is system shock 2. lets see it it can beat that game.

As no game may be perfect, it is the reviewers overall opinion on the game, and the flaws are so minor to not hinder the game at all why give it less then what it is to you.

At first when I head bioshock I was like oh great just another shooter, but after playing that demo. Well I have never been so drawn into the atmosphere. The game is extremely smooth with no noticable frame rate drops, and the over all feel of the game is just great. Visuals are beautiful, and I am pretty excited for the game. I don't think I will buy it when it first comes out though. Just because my next purchase for 360 is going to be an online game, just dont know what yet=). Well I could skip Metroid, but I have been waiting since day one of Wii launch for another game to make me so damn I love this system.

I will be buynig the POC version eventually but i'm thinking i'll get a PC upgrade first. Most of my comp just barely makes the recommended requirements with my processor being just a little better than the minimum requirements. However, MP3 is coming out shortly so I'll be busy with that for a while.

i have been playing this game constantly for the past weeks and it is insane...awesome graphics, awesome story, awesome sound, awesome game play... i would have to say its one of the best games i have ever played... its practically perfect!

This and The Orange Box look incredible. So many good games are coming out. I'd try playing the demo, but my computer might get Bioshocked and end up destroying my computer.

make sure your computer is insane if you buy this....it might also require vista too because of direct x 10...but my friend tryed to run it on his computer which is pretty good and it froze up and you could only hear things but not see them.
