Sort of out of left field with this one, but anything in the Myst series, preferably Riven or Revelations. I'm a pretty big fan of the Myst series and I don't think that one crappy one on the DS did the series enough justice.
EDIT: Or even better, change the game from 2D pictures into an actual 3D world like realMYST. I think that would work better with the lack of cursor.
