New Four Swords on the Horizon?

Four Swords, which is going to be released initially for folks to get their hands on - that’s local play.

released initially for people to get their hands on....it sounds to me like they are trying to advertise the series for a bigger release that will have online. I bet we see an announcement by next E3.

i think it's reading too much into it. initially here is supposed to mean "free for people to try out", and experience local co-op.

I disagree. initially is a word you use to say the way things are at first, they are talking about online, he says it is initially coming here and then e talks about it having local play. Then he goes on to talk about more online in the future. Not that i really have much faith left in nintendo to give wifi to games that need it after NSMBWii, Golden Sun, Star Fox and now four swords. But i have to hope.

NSMBWii was designed to be played locally. Online multiplayer would have made the game feel entirely different, not in a good way IMO. And Golden Sun is a single player game, so why would that need online?

Maybe it wouldn't feel as good but does that truly matter? Even if local is more fun(to some people),i dont think it would be hard to deny that wifi would be more fun than playing by yourself. Some people don't have loads of people to play games with. As far as golden sun i was thinking they should have had the battle mode that they had in the first two games, mixed it up though probrobly, and then put it online.

i think i remember them saying by the end of september we would see the release of four swords.. though, they might have said before the end of the year.. i'm not totally sure on that... can't wait for it.. never had a chance to play it before

Just remember the original Four Swords is multiplayer only. If you don't have friends locally, you're out of luck in playing that game.
