Number one in offense and defense were the chargers last year, and they did'nt even make the playoffs. I hope that things turn around this season. I also hope the Raiders go over .500.

So far so good for Lions fans. I'll have to admit, I didn't think they would start off this good. Only two undefeated teams left now. One of them is the defending Super Bowl Champs and the other one is the Lions! ^_^

I went to the Steelers Vs. Texans game yesterday (Sunday) and I have to say, the Steelers really looked like crap. Their offensive line needs to give Mr. Burger a little bit more time back there.

Also, the way how the Colts, Jags, and Titans are playing, my Texans are gonna go to the playoffs! Too early in the season to tell, but who cares!

I know their record is poor, but the Panthers are going to be an elite team really soon. Especially after seeing him in person I'm convinced this Newton kid is the real deal. I'm blown away by his accuracy this early into his career.

I've heard that before. every couple of seasons there is a new 'real deal' and they rarely pan out.

Huge upset yesterday with Green Bay losing. Never saw that one coming, but you can't stay unbeaten forever...

Also, I didn't have faith that the Lions could come back down 13 in the 4th with 5 minutes left, but they did! They haven't clinched a playoff berth yet, but it puts them that much closer.

Chargers laying an absolute beat-down on Baltimore almost makes our horrible season worth it. Even if Jesus Tebow and his Broncos collapse and SD somehow makes the playoffs, Norv Turner must be fired. Only thing that should save his job is a Super Bowl appearance.

Also, Weddle deserves so much more credit than he gets. As well as some DPOY votes. I said it.

I went thru the first half of Baylor/Texas on DVR last night, does RG ever set his feet?

I didn't like that at all. I loved his arm on that first throw to Wright, but he never ever dropped back, set, and threw. Everything was moving around, and then throwing.

I'll prolly get the second half in tonight, and I know he finished with a bang and all that, but he doesn't seem as polished as Luck and Barkley are right now. He has the arm though, no mistake about that, and he could be hard to get down in the backfield the way he moves, I just want to see some solid footwork from him.

Course, he probably has better footwork than Gabbert does, but that's not sayin much. God Gabbert sucks, they have to take a QB next year, they can't go another year of Gabbert I don't think. What a damn waste of their last 2 first rounders.

I'm happy Detroit went as far as they did this year. Sure, I'm upset they didn't go all the way, but this will be a great learning experience for them. Besides, the future looks bright and they will only continue to get better.

I wish that the Saints would've knocked-out anyone but Detroit. Sucks that things lined-up that way. But there's no doubt in my mind that the Lions have a really bright future. Stafford and Megatron are downright scary together.

I'm really nervous about this 49ers game. The Saints have a decent-to-good road record in the past 5 years (contrary to popular perception that they "suck" outside of the Dome, they are statistically above-average), but they also have yet to win a road playoff game.. ever.

There's a first time for everything, though, and as good as the 49ers' defense is, I don't see how they can contain all of our weapons, short of them going turnover crazy (which is their thing, oh yes). The 49ers have yet to play a true offensive powerhouse this season, so this game may be pretty revealing. Does Defense still outweigh Offense when it comes to winning championships?

Flip a coin. I don't buy the Vegas line favoring the Saints so much, and I'm thankful that the weather will be nice in San Fran on Saturday. Otherwise, we'd be boned.

Not really surprised that the Saints lost. We're a completely differemt team outside of that Dome. The home Dome advantage is a blessing and a curse.

Completely shocked at the Packers..they looked like world-beaters during the season, but they looked like a different team yesterday.
