First, 'the man of lawlessness' will appear, and he'll be able to solve the world's problems, no doubt the 12th Imam that the Islamists are waiting for. He'll be the one to sign a peace treaty with Israel that lasts seven years. During those seven years will be the tribulation period.
Year 1 - Hail, fire, and blood rain on the Earth. Good bye grass, and lots of the trees and earth.
Year 2 - 'Something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea'. A third of the sea turns to blood and a 1/3 of the fish die, and many ships are destroyed.
Year 3 - A great star, Wormword, crashes into the Earth and poisons rivers, springwater, etc. general freshwater, where WE get our water.
3 1/2 Years - The man of lawlessness reveals his true motives and sets his worldwide throne up in the Temple that is about to be built and the Palestinians want.
Year 4 - A third of the sun is struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars. A third of them all is now dark, meaning less true daylight.
Year 5 - Another star falls from the sky and into the Earth, where smoke comes up from it's center, the 'Abyss', Hell. The smoke blackens the sky. Locusts pour out and harm ONLY those who do not belong to God, and their sting is like a scorpion's sting. They will not kill, but they will torment for five months.
Year 6 - The four horsemen bound at Euphrates released, and 1/3 of mankind dies because of their fire, smoke, and sulfar plagues. Those who do not die STILL don't repent of their sins.
Year 6 1/2 - Two prophets with mysterious power testify, but the beast, Apollyon (Satan) will come out of the hole made in year 5 and overpower them, killing them and leaving their bodies on the streets. Over three and a half days people will gloat and send eachother gifts, refusing them burial. But after said number of days, they will rise on their feet and go into Heaven, and a massive earthquake will hit the city.
Year 7 - Flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, a worldwide earthquake and a worldwide hailstorm.
But it's not over yet. The 'Beast', who's number is the number of man, 666, appears and ends up creating the Mark of the Beast. Those who take it on their forehead or hand can buy or sell. Three angels will appear above the Earth and proclaim the final gospel message to those who want to be rescued.
Now come the seven bowls of God's wrath, which MIGHT last another 7 years, but I'm not sure. They probably do last 7 years.
Bowl 1 - Painful sours on everyone.
Bowl 2 - The entire sea turns to blood and EVERYTHING dies.
Bowl 3 - ALL freshwater is now blood.
Bowl 4 - The sun grows to a scorching everyone in intense heat.
Bowl 5 - The bowl is poured on the Beast's throne, and his kingdom is plunged into darkness.
Bowl 6 - The Euphrates dries up and all the armies and rulers and kings come to the place called Armageddon.
Bowl 7 - Lightning, thunder, and the most massive earthquake in man's history. It says 'every island fled away and the mountains could not be found'. Hail one hundred pounds each will strike man.
After all this, Christ comes to set his reign on Earth. The Beast and the Man of Lawlessness are captured, and all men who took the Mark of the Beast are thrown into the Lake of Fire, no questions asked.
The Beast (or the Devil, 'that ancient serpent') is bound and locked in the Abyss for 1,000 years, which is the period where Christ will rule this Earth. After the 1,000 years, he will be free to decieve the whole Earth, and their army will march in huge numbers, but they'll all be devoured by God's fury. Satan and the Man of Lawlessness will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, where they belong.
The Great White Throne Judgement is now, where God judges the dead.
After this, the New Heaven and the New Earth will come down where the followers of God will spend eternity in bliss, along with a new universe and new dimensions and everything beyond human capability of thinking. Only those who repented of the sins and believed in the resurrection and trusted Christ were saved.
And THAT is the massively drawn-out end of the world.
