So today at my high school some kid says to me that Nintendo is closing and the Xbox 360 is the highest selling console of this generation. I hate it when people hear one random thing and think their experts. I told him what was really going on and he said that is not true. I don't take it seriously but still... What do you think?

Well the Xbox is the highest selling console (in the US) at the moment. So it depends on the context of whatever he read it in. It's a valid statement. The Wii is obviously the console with the most life-to-date sales this generation. Maybe that's what threw him?

But yeah, everybody is ignorant of something, and guilty of spouting misconceptions, misunderstandings and pure made up bullshit at some point. If you know someone's wrong, and can't convince them otherwise you have to just ignore them. You drive yourself mad otherwise.

It it annoys me so much when people call things gay. They sound homophobic because they probably are. I'm not gay but I think it is so stupid, that word does not even make sense in the context people like that use it.
