Why do you want to know what Monolith is working on, when their last game hasn't been brought to NOA (I am assuming you live in US )? And they have now abandoned the Fire Emblem (my favorite series from Nintendo) series in the US, so I see no games that make me feel like I have to, or will ever get a WiiU. I have no confidence in NOA, at all. Why should I care about Pikmin when they wouldn't even release the second game here?

Retro, yeah, that's about the only thing that intrigues me, but we all know it's just Donkey Kong HD. I wouldn't buy a WiiU just for that.

Zelda is 3-5 years away, why is it even on your list? Same with Smash Bros., forget about those two games being released any time soon.

Yes I am grumpy, disappointed, call it whatever you want. They better get their act together is all I have to say, or they will lose fans who are all too willing to give them money, for the right kind of games.

Hey guys, been gone for a while, had a lot to do! Anyways concerning Monolith games making it to the US, there is a possibility, with Wii U Nintendo is going to bring as many games as it can early on, from what they have said (BTW I would love see a remade Disaster Day of Crisis XD).

Concerning the Sonic game, sounds great, it is just a rumor but we can all agree that a Sonic game will eventually come to Wii U, whatever it is. And Retro, I doubt they are working on DK again, they already said it's a game "everyone wants us to do", maybe Metroid?

As for dividing the list into Officially Announced and Rumors, I think it's a great idea (thanks sundin13), the only problem being the editor (not the best, so to speak), so either I make it in the editor and the list becomes quite long or I post a picture of a table that I make, much more easier and organized. Does the editor support embedded images or just links? What do you guys want me to do?

Killer Freaks from Outer Space is the one I'm probably most interested in, because of the studio behind it and because it is an original title being developed for the Wii U, and not currently a port of an existing game.

the problem is the launch window. this list suffers from the same problem the plagues the wii:

no epic 3rd party original/exclusive IP's.

there is a wait and see approach because of the unsteady 3ds launch.

if this list was the launch list, it still would be disappointing and the launch list will be much smaller.

if there are any original exclusive 3rd party games of any merit, they would have been announced because they would be deep into development by now considering the wii u is 8 months away.
if any new games get thrown into the launch lineup without much headway/marketing, then you know the development was rushed and/or compromised for a quick profit.

First Party Download: Pushmo (Pullblox) 2 or Fluidity 2
Third Party Retail: Darksiders 2, Metro: Last Light, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Assassins Creed 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tekken, Ghost Recon Online, DiRT 3, Ninja Gaiden 3, Aliens: CM, The Orange Box (I know the Orange Box probably wont arrive on Wii U, but we can hope.)
Third Party Download: Sonic 4 Ep. 2, Trials HD, NFL Blitz

Aliens: Colonial Marines: looks incredibly boring and generic
Assassin's Creed 3: LOL assassins creed, most overrated piece of crap
Batman: Arkham City: rather play it on ps3
Darksiders 2: not that bothered
Untitled Dirt game: don't like racing games
Dragon Quest X: generally don't like MMO's but might consider trying it if it is free to play
Untitled F1/Formula One game: don't like racing games
Killer Freaks from Outer Space: looks like a slightly less blue version of aliens colonial marines
Lego City Stories: looks really boring, the lego games have absolutely nothing going for them except for the ip they are based on and this one doesn't even have that.
Metro: Last Light: metro 2033 bored the living daylights out of me and this looks just as bad
New Super Mario Bros Mii: will hopefully never see the light of day
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge: same as the above
Pikmin 3: don't really like pikmin
Project Nova: never heard of it and a google search didn't help much
Marvel Pinball: pinball...seriously...
Untitled Tekken game: looks boring, the series lost it's spark for me when the ps2 came out
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online: looks somewhat interesting
Untitled Rabbids game: will hopefully never be released

Aliens: Colonial Marines: Fairly interested
Assassin's Creed 3: Interested when it's $20 or less...
Batman: Arkham City: Very interested (didn't play it yet)
Darksiders 2: Interested (didn't play the first one)
Untitled Dirt game: Somewhat interested (need to see more)
Dragon Quest X: ...Meh I like Dragon Quest but I'm not a fan of MMOs and I think this is a subscription MMO
Untitled F1/Formula One game: Bleh
Killer Freaks from Outer Space: ...Meh
Lego City Stories: Sort of interested, not a huge fan of the recent Lego games, but this one could be interesting, seeing as they're not tied to an IP, would have to see more.
Metro: Last Light: Never played the first one but this one has me interested.
New Super Mario Bros Mii: I'd rather have Super Mario 4.....
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge: Bad reviews aside, maybe
Pikmin 3: Can't wait
Project Nova: Need more info.
Marvel Pinball: Nope
Untitled Tekken game: Not a fan of fighting games

Project Cars? I'd get that if it was a release game. Of those in your list I do not think Retro will be a release title, and Monolith Soft won't be a release title. If they were, they would be insta-buy, just on the name of the developer alone. Smash Bros. would be a day one pickup too, but it won't be there for WiiU release.

Killer Freaks would be something I'd check out, but only because I loved first person shooters on the Wii, with the Wiimote+Nunchuk control scheme. It seems to have a great silliness to it, but still looks pretty good. Metro looks awesome graphically, and would pick it up on WiiU, if I don't get it for PS3 before then. It will be hard to choose those games now that I have a PS3, so I hope developers really utilize the tablet in some unique way. I'm glad Killer Freaks is WiiU only, as that will push them to utilize the tablet fully!

Lego City Stories, and Pikmin 3 are definite buys, too. Also...haven't played a pinball game in ages, but I'm a sucker for them, and Marvel. May try to stay away, lol, since it's obviously pushing the DLC content...don't want to support another Capcom.

So far, so good (I guess), but it really needs Star Fox and F-Zero if they really want me to get a Wii U on day 1 (which I know I won't), and some info for Super Smash Bros. Wii U (and preferably, SSB.3DS as well) at E3.

I hope they release with at least 1 RPG. And I hope it holds me over til more interesting things come out. Or the stuff I want to lower in price. Like I wanna try DarkSiders and Aliens and Batman, but I don't want to waste $60 (what I'm guessing the average prices will be) on a game I might end up hating...
