Question about Toad Houses in Super Mario 3D Land...

Do Toad Houses reappear in Super Mario 3D Land after you use them? If so, then is it like in the case of Mystery Boxes, where they reappear after a while, or is it like in NSMB, where they reappear after you beat the game? Thanks ahead of time!

I know they reappear when you get a StreetPass hit, like Mystery Boxes, but I'm not sure about whether they just come back on their own.

They don't reappear after you beat the main 8 worlds. I usually just beat an easy level that I'm sure has the items I want. I usually go to 1-1 you can get 2 tanooki suits in about a minute. You can get 2 Fire Flowers on world 1-2 in a little over a minute. There may be a quicker place but you can get 2 boomerang suits in 5-1 in about 3 minutes.

I know they re-appear once you get a street pass. However, besides that I'm pretty sure they are useless. Even if you get the 5 star rank I'm pretty sure they are still not opened. I guess this is to encourage using street pass. Something that is impossible to do unless you live in a big city....

If you get 5 stars, they still won't appear. In order to make them re-appear, you need to get a game over. Which is basically hard to do, unless you like killing yourself over a hundred times.
