I'm assuming I have at least 5-10 hours to go still. Then again, I've been doing a lot of the Side Missions and trying to get all of the Goddess Cubes.

But do I have to put the wiimote on the floor everytime I start the game?

motherbra1n wrote:I've looked over at the podcasts for gametrailers and gamespot where they go into a bit more depth about why they gave the game the score they gave it and what they didn't like.
the gametrailers video review was about 80% negative and 20% positive, in the podcast, the one reviewing the game said something along the lines of "this has the best level design of any game in the last ten years" which would explain the 9.1 score but really that should have been in the review itself and not something that I'd have to go find the podcast for to find out cos it seems like they absolutely hated the game and were too scared to give it a low score just because it was zelda.
After listening to Tom Mcshea on hotspot and watching his review again I just find it really hard to take him seriously. He says that the score would be the same even if the controls were perfect (for him) which just makes no sense. It seems to me like he says that because he knows he made an error in his review about the controls and just wants to back down and pretend that the controls had no bearing on his score in the first place when they clearly did and if they didn't and he doesn't take controls very seriously then I can't take him seriously at all.
He said he didn't enjoy the pre-dungeon stuff and thinks they were basically just fetch quests, ok fair enough, I'm not gonna hate him for not enjoying it but one thing which he said that I can't get my head around was "you go to the three same places 3 seperate times"Spoiler:
I agree with his comments about the overworld, I really just want an ocarina of time/majoras mask/twilight princess styled overworld. i.e on land and more freedom. I hate these transportation systems, it was relatively cool in wind waker (dunno why, it just was) but after that i got sick of it and just wanted a normal overworld again. I really hope they go back to that and just improve on it in the next zelda game.

The Harp doesn't really require timing and it's only ' point controller, Hold A, move left to right.'
What do you all consider to be an Overworld for Zelda though? If we're talking Hyrule Field, the Great Sea and Termina Field, then it's pretty much like the Sky in Skyward Sword. I think Skyward Sword needed to cut 5 hours of padding to focus on Side Quests. Also, bring back the Bomber's Notebook for crying out loud.
I also don't understand why they can't put all of the text up at once.

All I can say for now is there's a lot of combat.
Now, I know that sounds bad for you, but you will get used to it.
