I would like to see a F1 mode with a pit stop and less power ups,also some really tyre smoke. :D

I like the pit stop Idea, In a realistic-type game-mode separate from the classic MK though, Who needs a pit lane in a 3 lap race? :P
A gear-stick on the touch screen, maybe? :)
This reminds me of a puzzle.

I'd like to see some campaign/story mode similar to Mario Super Sluggers (except not as bad) to provide motivation for racing. Also maybe a track creator mode.

I'd like to see a new 5-new/5-retro cup format, similar to Super Circuit. And, of course, the option to do "survival mode" in battle, much like the original Mario Kart games!

I'd like a track editor to come to MK. We should be able to make our own tracks and it would answer the common complaints of "Why didn't Nintendo bring this track back?!" or "This track sucks!"

I don't want too many options especially for stuff I don't care about. Just want to race. I would like the blue shell to not have wings and be be used like a normal shell. Also if it would hit 2nd place if you have it in 1st.

-It shouldn't be based on circuit courses anymore. they should be relay style races where one character drives to check point A and the next character drives to check point B and so on.
The player will have to choose the right characters for each stretch of the race. It should be open environments where there is no direct one way of getting to the next check point.

- Courses should be based on real world locations not mushroom kingdom locations.

I'm starting to get annoyed with Mario Kart. I've played every Mario Kart that has come out, and Mario Kart DS was my favorite because it expanded the game with a Mission Mode. After having fun switching between GP and Missions I was severely disappointed that Mario Kart Wii only had GP (and the same with Mario Kart 3DS).

I want the game to offer more then GP and Battle modes. I want them to bring back the mission mode, and possibly have a different kind of interface for it. (i.e. mission mode could be similar to like Burnout Paradise, where you drive around exploring an area, possibly the Mushroom Kingdom for this situation, for the next thing you want to do. I know this won't happen, just wishful thinking)

I'd like to see some world touring. Though I know many would not be for seeing new racers from other games (understandably so, though the idea of a WarpStar Kart and Kirby makes me grin), I would at least like to see some tracks from across other games Nintendo has. That's pretty much what I would like outside some legitimate kart racers (MK7 has pretty lackluster roster, Waluigi ain't even in it and he's the spinoff king for Mario games).

Oh, and bring back Funky Kong!

I agree with most of the posts here. I'd like the option to disable items and better item balance in general, more content, and different kinds of gameplay modes than just the GP and time trials, like maybe an expanded version of MKDS's Missions mode (I was disappointed that MK7 got rid of that). I'd also like the option to do one-on-one battles again.

Really? A 2-item touch screen inventory? Wouldn't that actually be clunkier and less convenient than just using two face buttons like in Double Dash? As for the map, I'd personally prefer a mini-map on the main screen. I barely use the map on MKDS because I have to look away from the main screen to see it.

I want all new courses, no rehashes. I want it to feel like a complete new game with a lot of effort put into it. Sell the old courses as dlc.

What I'd like to see in Mario Kart Wii"U" is the return of Mission mode, Last Man Standing/Survival option included again in battle mode, Maka Wuhu (*For reasons you may already know :wink: ), signature character items like in Double Dash to return, 2 characters in a cart like in Double Dash to return as an option and every character from past games to be included along with the new ones. As for everything else introduced in Mario Kart 7, I'd like it all to be included as well. :D

Pitstop idea is awesome! Reminds me of one of my favorite C64 games, of the same name! You could even have tag team drivers, like in some of the 24 hour races, where they switch...and each driver could have different advantages and/or disadvantages.
