I think the video the was posted on Gonintendo earlier was in Japanese. If any of you are interested the English video can be found at http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/leoRNk4z_ui0yblzMlCVz6Wy9jGb5qSq. At the end of the video a message says that the same video can be watched in 3D on the Nintendo Eshop. I don't know if that is true though, I haven't gotten to check it out on the 3DS yet.

Anyway, I am super excited for this game and I do hope that Nintendo makes the multiplayer online.

I don't really care about online, but this is easily one of my most anticipated games of 2012. Wide variety of weapons? Fast-paced, involving action? Sin and Punishment style levels? Sign me up.

The only problem is that it's not on the Wii. The game seems more suited to pointer controls.

@ L Thammy: Wouldn't you consider the stylus pointer controls?

Online is NOT confirmed.

I'd really like them to make this compatible with the Circle Pad Pro.

They're extremely similar, but not really from a user standpoint. I'd rather play Trauma Center with a stylus because it feels more comfortable for precise movements, not just because it's like a scalpel. I'd rather play Sin and Punishment with a Wiimote because it feels better for big, fast movements - shooting everything when you see it.

I'm not entirely positive, but i'm pretty sure Nintendo said that Uprising could use the circle pad pro when it was announced.

There's been no confirmation of Circle Pad Pro use. If it was going to use it, they should have mentioned it in their Press Release today.

I would like circle pad pro bu like only if they have a bundle for it. I don't feel like buying the pad alone and really want a game along with it. Not sure if I'll get Resident Evil.

The game is finally going to be released a year after the 3DS first came out; so much for this being the first 3DS game announced... It is a little odd, but my excitement about the game has gone down a lot. Maybe because it has been so long now, and we haven't seen too much about it. The circle pad pro really would fix all the complaints I have read about the controls, but like KingBroly has said, Sakurai hasn't said anything about using it... I'm also hoping for online play, but Sakurai hasn't said anything about that either. All I remember hearing is that they were planning on including online, but it wasn't a top priority...

I'm OK with the jaggies, but one thing that has bothered me in the trailer (I don't know if you can see it through YouTube, I noticed it when watching on my 3DS) is that some of the ground textures around the "Oh my god! It's gigantic" part look exactly like textures from a DS game. I know it is something stupid to be concerned about, but it's just weird to see something of so low quality in a more powerful system.

Still totally hyped for this vaporware game. I don't really care how long we have to wait (maybe not completely true), it will be worth it. Sakurai will deliver.

bump.

Since we're just over 2 weeks away from launch, I figured this thread deserves to be put up front, as it's Nintendo's first big 3DS release of the year. Get hype.

Damn >_< me importing Kingdom Hearts 3D along with an Ice White 3DS is really going to take my time away from this awesome game.

I SO want to try out the mutiplayer with my 3DS pals!

People accuse them of being "tough" but I often end up agreeing 100% with their reviews, and if nothing else, they're one of the handful of publications whose opinion i trust/respect.

Sort of topic-related: awesome commercial is awesome
