In the first q of 2012 I want to download Kirby's Block Ball, Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword, Jett Rocket Super Surf, Zen Pinball 3D, Dillon's Rolling Western and probably other games. So would it be a good deal? My 3DS is my primary gaming system so yea.
oh yea. the entire eshop will probably never fill 8GB.

If demos goes live this spring, you can bet it will fill it up.
eshop content not withstanding, plenty of games now create 20-30 MB 'additional data' usually allowing for extensive replays to be saved, ghost data for racers, and other stuff. Those add up.
I got to about 3/4 full on my 2GB card and switched over to a 16GB class 10 card. in time for Mighty Switch Force and Swap Note.
Oh yeah, you also have apps like Swap note where the extra data starts small and grows bigger as the content saved grows.
