First pink piece? I wish there was a way I could send mine off to people via spotpass or something....I've completed Zelda, Starfox, and Mario Kart.

I hate where I live. It's Smart Phone Country down here. Worst of all, Nintendo doesn't advertise Street Pass as a feature (THEY NEED TO).

Streetpass is half of the fun on the 3DS for me. They really should start advertising it. Though you aren't missing out on much. The 3 puzzles I've completed of the new set were nothing spectacular. Unlike the first set where each one seemed like a different setting, these new ones all follow the same kind of format (again out of the 3 I have). What they have done so far is have pseudo movement towards you and try to make it look like the background is moving as well. It was neat with the first one, but I was expecting a different kind of thing with each of these newer puzzles and its been sort of just "meh" for me with them.

The Kid Icarus Uprising one seems very elaborate at least:

It's really hard to get a StreetPass in southern Indiana. I've only had five since I got my 3DS last May! Just got my 5th one today on my way home from my doctor in Louisville, KY. There was a ball game going on at the KFC Yum! Center, and I just happened to drive by at the right time to snag a pass from someone from Florida.

So far 90% of my pieces have been bought. Seriously, I rarely ever StreetPass anyone, and when I do, they don't usually have pieces on them.

But for those that did, they helped me get to this point (along with 1000+ Play Coins spent...)

Completed:

Legend of Zelda
Metroid: Other M
Mario and Bowser (and Luigi! Dangit Nintendo.)
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Kirby's Dream Land
Pikmin

Completed but waiting on Special Panels:

LoZ: Ocarina of Time 3D
Star Fox 64 3D
Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart 7
Pilotwings Resort
Kid Icarus Uprising

Yeah... I have the opportunity to walk around Philadelphia every weekend so I should do that and hope for some lucky finds.

I need to find a good place in Charlotte or Concord to walk around with a 3DS to get some Street Passes. I've bought a few puzzle pieces recently to try and fill up my Kid Icarus, OOT and DKCR puzzles as much as possible in the meantime.

That Kid Icarus one looks pretty cool. I'm hoping that I'll be able to finish a couple puzzles when I got to the Zelda concert in Philly.

I expect to get a piece of every puzzle when I go to the Georgia one in May. As for now, I'll keep chipping away at OOT (3 non-pinks left), DKCR (8 non-pinks left) and KI:U (9 non-pinks left) via Play Coins.

I just spent 290 coins a couple days ago and completed
Metroid: Other M
Mario and Bowser
Legend of Zelda
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Kirby's Dream Land
Pikmin
New Super Mario Bros.Wii

I also have Zelda OoT and Star Fox 64 completed besides the pink pieces, and about 4 pieces left on Kid Icarus besides the pink pieces. Unfortunately I have no pink pieces at all.

Considering the maximum amount of coins you can have is 300...holy hell.

Yeah, the bad thing is I only needed 1 piece on most of the puzzles, and maybe 4 or so on the Star Fox and Zelda OoT ones. At first I was gonna just spend 50 coins but after getting none of the ones I only needed one piece to complete I just kept going and ended up with only 10 coins left by the time I had completed them. At 2 a piece I bought a total of 145 pieces for maybe 20 pieces I actually needed.

I have all of the original 7 completed plus OoT 3D and StarFox 64 3D THe rest with the exception of Kid Icarus Uprising and Rhythm Heaven Fever just need the Purple pieces.I bought the Majority of my pieces as I still haven't even beat Find Mii for the second time yet. I'm thinking the next big 3DS update won't come until around Wii U launch time. Basically just to add connectivity between the 2 devices. However now that 3DS Puzzle pieces can arrive via SpotPass, we could see some more puzzle sooner. (i.e. Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Tennis Open etc.)

do like Rhythm Heaven Fevers quite a bit.

Still to go: All for RHF, MK7, SF64 and SM3DL
OOT - 6 pieces (3 pink)
DKCR - 9 pieces (4 pink)
KI:U - 15 pieces (8 pink)

It kind of stinks that you can't get a new Puzzle unlocked when you get all non-Pink pieces though. It'd be a nice reward IMO in case you are having trouble finding people.

Still no purple puzzle pieces. As soon as i hit 300 coins I'll start the Kid Icarus puzzle. Does anyone know which issue of game informer has the Kid Icarus card? Going to Gamestop get the game and was going to ask if I could get the issue. I get digital cause I really wanted the card. Now they have something I want.

It's issue 228, I think. It's the one with the Assassin's Creed III cover.

I passed 3 stores with 3DSes with their wifi on, one of which I had streetpassed before, and nothing happened. The wireless on my 3DS is still working because I'm still getting swapnotes. Is this just a fluke?

Maybe because the 3DSs were open? Also I think it takes a minute to get a streetpass, perhaps you went by too fast.

Depends on what their Demo is. If it's SM3DL, you can Street Pass with it; if it's Mario Kart 7, you can't. It's also possible they don't have any Miis in their Mii Plaza. You should try and fix that :)

The one at my gamestop doesn't have any Miis in the plaza, which I tried to fix, but I can't figure out how to get to the home menu on it. Hitting home, or the power button doesn't seem to do anything. It would be cool if Nintendo set them up for streetpass and put a pink puzzle piece on the store displays.

Try powering off the system and turning it back on, holding down start and select. That always works for me on their demo units.

I know for a while on mine and my sisters 3DS's we were not getting streetpasses with each other or partial ones from other people. So we had to delete the Streetpass Mii Plaza Streetpass data from the System Settings menu then go into Streetpass Mii Plaza and turn it back on now they work perfectly.

I also have at least 1 piece of every puzzle and finally got some one from a 3rd region, Alaska!
