Metal Gear series hits sales landmark

From the series launch all the way through December 31, 2011, Metal Gear as a brand has sold 31 million copies worldwide. From 1987 until now, I'd say that's a pretty nice achievement, especially when you consider that long break that Snake took during the SNES era!
