It has to do with not wanting to play a game that only has a hand-cramping control scheme. Have you ever played Metroid Prime Hunters or Star Fox Command? Same terrible control scheme.

I loved Metroid Prime Hunters - it controlled perfectly :D Maybe you have big hands? Although I have big hands.....maybe you have arthritis? :(

I think it's hilarious this is the first we're hearing of this, all of two weeks before release.

No stylus mode confirmed for Kid Icarus: Uprising

Stylus controls are fine as long as the game doesn't force you to use only them(i'm looking at you phantom hour glass and spirit tracks)
Though using stylus to aim, circle pad to move and buttons to attack is stupid i don't have three hands aiming should be either auto aim or asigned to a button
My favorite zelda game is Twilight Princess and Jirachi is my favorite pokemon <3 skype:SSBBKING

nintendo are so anti dual analog controls, they just can't swallow their pride and accept that someone else figured it out before they did. For god's sake it's been over 10 years will they ever get over it.

It is always good to have options. If people don't like one control method they can try the other one. Still not sure why duel analog wasn't implemented as an option though. Maybe they can update the game to include this in the future?

I still wish this would get a port, even a direct lazy one to the Wii, the control scheme there would be so much better...

it comes with a stand to try to make up for the terribad control scheme. I can't believe anyone would prefer that to dual analog.

As shown in the video, you'll actually aim with the Circle Pad, and move with the ABXY buttons. That should be better than the opposite layout once you get used to it, but as most dual analog games have you controlling movement with your left hand and aiming with your right, it may have more of a learning curve.

That's even MORE terrible because it's completely antithetical to the way we've trained ourselves to play games for over 30 years now. Movement on the left, action on the right...

Ever played Wind Waker or Sunshine?

Dual analog is just inferior to touchsreen or pointer aiming and that's why they tend to ignore it... Movement however has to be analog!

Personally I think it is good, that they give you an option. That way people can decide for themself what they want to use. I really wish Revelations had that feature as well. Instead they've put gyro-aiming in, which sucks with 3D on. Touchscrenaiming should be ALWAYS an option!
