Nintendo has no comment on Pokemon X Nobunaga's Ambition localization

Do you think there's a chance that Pokemon X Nobunaga's Ambition could be localized? Don't bother asking Nintendo, because they aren't willing to talk about it yet. They haven't confirmed or denied the possibility, they just stated that no announcements have been made. I guess that's better than a flat-out denial.

Well, that's better than their initial response to Operation Rainfall, and we see how that turned out. Here's hoping.

@LegendofSantiago
That makes no damn sense.

I probably will, it looks interesting enough, but they probably will localize anyways. What Pokemon spinoff hasn't sold less than 200,000 units after its first year?

Wait, didn't NOE confirm a localization in the European Nintendo Direct? TBA 2012 or something like in the subtitles.

Nah, it was like "European plans TBD" as if they're still determining whether or not to go through with it. A few other games in that Nintendo Direct were like that. Stuff like Fire Emblem had more obvious confirmations.

... Isn't it The Pokemon Company International that decides this stuff, not Nintendo?

The Pokemon Company International is pretty much Nintendo anyway.

I could see this skipping the states based on the Japan response. Yes it has sold pretty well, but I seem to remember reading that mostly older gamers were buying it while younguns were ignoring it.

I hope it comes here because I would totally buy it just for being a Pokemon spinoff that looks worth my money.

I have to admit that I'm not all that interested in it anyway. So whether or not it gets localized is no big deal to me.

I'm sure they will bring it over. Any game with Pokemon in its name is guaranteed to sell.

Its very rare that a Pokemon game doesn't get a release in the West. I think Pokemon Green, Pokemon Trading Card Game 2, a WiiWare Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, the Typing one, were the only ones not to get a release...not counting arcade one that mobile game. Shame that other poor spin offs make it, but TCG 2 didn't.

At least PG got a remake on GBA but its been too long since Nintendo did a TCG and the original GBC game was excellent.

I'm beginning to think that it might not be released in the west, but if it does see a release, maybe only Europe/Australia will get it...

Few corrections here; the West did not get Red and Green (we got two versions of Blue), TCG 2, Stadium 1 (our Stadium 1 was their Stadium 2, our Stadium 2 was their Stadium 3/GS), MD WiiWare, Typing DS, and a DS TCG simulator that was bundled with one of many Beginning Set reprints.

I thought we got Red and Green, but updated with Blue's sprites and Green renamed Blue? Damn the internet and too many different stories floating around.

Our Red & Blue was Japan's Blue but with the rarities of Red & Green.
