Zidane's Poll of the Week #331

Postby Zidane » 04 Apr 2012 10:15

I try, oh lord, I try. However, I must be honest and admit that I don't often work out. I should change that, though.

I've wanted to but I just haven't come up with a weightloss plan and a way to execute it. :( You can't really just go out and exercise and think right off the bat you'll lose weight. It involves planning and changing your eating habits which I've yet to accomplish sadly.
※I'll be playing Resident Evil Revelations Wii U on weekends alot so lets play Raid Mode sometime!(ツ) ☆Image

I don't need to lose weight, but if I need to once I get older, I'll probably just use the same diet my dad was on after he had his gall bladder removed which just entailed no fast food and no red meat. Easy peasy.

Exercising though is a big "no". I'm just too lazy.

"Yes, as often as I can."

It is sort of hard to find the time with work, school, and homework always getting in the way. However, I try to run/ bike for cardio at least twice a week, and weight lift to build some more muscle mass at least twice a week. I usually increase my workout regimen once I get out of school. You feel so much better after a long workout as opposed to always feeling lazy and drowsy...I've also changed my diet for the new year to exclude any form of soda, deep fried food, and chips. That stuff is terrible for you... So far so good with my New Year's resolution. :)

a lot of people incorrectly associate exercise only with weight loss or diets, when in fact it is much more important to one's overall (long term) health than just something to give a quick diet an extra boost. use it or lose it kind of thing.. if your body never gets any exercise, it will just deteriorate more quickly.

i watched a documentary last night, and in it i heard a doctor mention a philosophy i've long had, but put much more eloquently: permanent results require permanent change. as in, if you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need to permanently change your habits. your body reflects the lifestyle you lead.

but yea.. i try to get about 45 minutes or an hour of exercise at least every other day; more often if possible.

I'm actually on a diet from my doctor, and until I lose some more weight, it'd actually be bad for me to exercise. Far be it from me to complain about that.

The 5th option sums it up pretty well lol. Although I don't regularly exercise, I do walk getting to and from class, and them occasionally me and my wife take walks

I feel that way. I try and eat as healthily as I can, and I try and exercise at least a little every day - even if it's just going out for a walk for a bit. I'm not overweight (quite the opposite) and I'm almost never ill. I'd just like to keep it that way!

I exercise moderately and I seem to do well for myself. It isn't that hard to just set aside about a half an hour three times a week for exercise, and even beyond exercise are healthy eating habits. simply eating healthy and normal portions is more than enough to stay in relativity ok shape.
