it's probably easier to just use the open field in profiles to enter your various handles, social links, etc.

for example, mine lists skype, facebook, and twitter. i could add my steam, but i'll give you three guesses what my u/n is. the first two don't count.

I think he wants Steam ID's on the same level as "Wii" "XBL" and "PSN" under your forum name.

eh. the only reason we have xbl/psn is because we used to have whole sites dedicated to those platforms. so i guess if we ever have a pc/other gaming site, maybe.

until then, we have a perfectly serviceable solution for any non-standard sites people want to share out their IDs.
