If they could do it well, Adventure Time could be totally rad.

I would say The Walking Dead or maybe LOST could be good as well. The Office could make a decent set of mini-games, pranks on Dwight, help Michael and his problems, the office olympics, and more.

Justified for sure.

I think the setting of Harlan altogether would be pretty cool to see done in a video game. The chance to play as Raylan Givens? I know I'd be down for that. :D

Yeah I wouldn't want a MLP game because Hasbro would probably stick with the original demographic in mind. I'll stick to our wonderful fangames for now. Also, lol Gumball (sorry, but I highly dislike that show because, in my opinion, it's really stupid. We're even.)

Other than that, I can see Adventure Time getting a game, as previously mentioned. I can see them trying to use 3D models in an open world, but I think 2D sidescrolling would work even better.

I don't really watch that much TV. I basically just backed up what was already mentioned lol.

I was gonna say Lost as well, but I'm not entirely sure how a game would turn out.

TMZ: It could be a game where you have to go around and take pictures of celebrities. The better the picture the better the score you get. Think Pokemon Snap, but with celebrities instead of Pokemon.

My Little Ponies: Just to make everyone happy.

(Will edit if I think of more...)

I second Adventure Time, but as like some sort of action RPG or Zeldalike (I just made that up) with Ni no Kuni-style graphics (looks like it was ripped straight from the animated source material, I mean, not Adventure Time goes Ghibli).

Sticking with the Cartoon Network theme here (I may be in college but damn if I won't indulge in cartoons), I'd love a Johnny Test video game, that one is one of my favorites. I know technically it got a DS game, but from what I've read it looks pretty awful. You'd think a show with relatively rich mythology would translate to gaming.

I'm sorry but that's just morbid. Paparazzi are annoying enough without glorifying them (plus, legally that'd never work, AND TMZ is is massively awful).

The answer is Twin Peaks. Mix of alan wake or eternal darkness and mass effect conversations.

That would be awwwwwwwwwesome. but I bet most people here are too young to appreciate twin peaks.

I'd like to see the Jersey Shore reality show turned into a game about a murderer trying to decapitate them. (Hopefully I get to play as this murderer! ) Maybe ingame I get to fling poop and trash at them just for the LOLs. xD

Been watching the show on Netflix, If you want a Twin Peaks game, you should try out Deadly Premonition. Quite a bit like the show.

Pacific Northwest small rural town setting
Eccentric FBI agent with an obsession for coffee
Log Lady = Pot Lady

Even the hotel room he stays in looks similar.

This is a hard one. Since an Adventure Time game is already in the works and Fighting is Magic is going to be better than anything Hasbro could pull off with the series, I'm going to have to say either Regular Show or Heroes. Regular Show has more than enough game references in it to warrant its own game- every episode has such ridiculous, mind blowing set pieces that would make for great stages. As for Heroes, I know it was oft maligned in its later seasons, but I think it would be neat not only to control the characters and their various powers, but also to see what a talented dev team could do to in an attempt to give the cancelled series closure.

I can't really think of any tv shows that would make a good video game, but think The Hunger Games would make a pretty awesome game.

One I would definitely love to have would be Breaking Bad. I love that show and I think it could have an interesting element of hiding evidence as Walter and finding it as Hank. Trying to keep people on your side as you double-cross them could be interesting as well.

One other would be an obscure cartoon from the 80's called the Legend of Zelda. I think that could lend itself to a game really well! Every time Link gets hit he could say Excuuuusse me, (thing that damaged him).

Holmes on Homes: The Game

But seriously...it's difficult for me to envision a tv show I like to watch as a video game I'd like to play, because I think I tend to keep them fairly well separated in my mind. However, a translation going in the other direction (from game to show) might be a bit easier to swallow.

Archer: Imagine this adaptation being the spiritual successor to Goldeneye 007/Perfect Dark, except with much more hilarious antics/situations, a multiplayer mode (both offline and online) with heavy player customization, and "DANGER ZONE" scenarios.

Parks and Recreation/The Office: How about a simulator? Pawnee/Dunder Mifflin Scranton could sure be more efficient...

Regular Show: A no-brainer, really. I can imagine a great cooperative sidescrolling 2D beat-em-up with its cast of characters. Not to mention, it's even more fitting, given how the show's video games tend to be of that sort. Also, you know who else would like this game? MY MOM!

Robot Chicken: Essentially WarioWare with an M-rating.

Superjail!: How about a 3D survival action game starring Jacknife, the convict who gets arrested in almost every episode? Visually, the game will resemble the cartoon: cel-shaded without any self-shadowing. And expect a LOT of Jailbot.

Hole in the Wall would have made a nice Kinect game, if the show was still on the air. They could still have the game based off of the Japanese show.

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, based off the TV show, including Rockapella

If I were to make the MLP game, I would make it where you can visit about every place in the show ( Ponyville, everfree forest, canterlot, etc...) and I would give the option of switching between the mane 6 simultaneously, with unlockables like the CMC's, spike, zecora and more. Also you can do different quests throughout the areas. That's how far I got.

Doctor Who? Yes a whole ton of people have tried to make a good game based on the series, but all of them have failed miserably at the task. It's a pity, the universe is something that could be interesting in a video game, it's just that a decent game based on it would have to be more a puzzle/adventure game than an action game and that might not make it popular enough for large corporations to bother with.
