2003 was the year where Nintendo's big focus was GC/GBA connectivity. I couldn't believe how much time they spent showing Pacman Vs. Seriously, you knew it was bad when that was their big game for the show. Prime 2 and RE4 were there but barely. The Prime 2 announcement was a 15 second clip that amounted to nothing more than a tease. RE4 wasn't playable either and it was the (underwhelming) version of the game that was completely shelved. Neither of those games had their true unveiling until E3 2004.
2003 was a pretty good year as far as released though. It was just E3 that sucked.
