New Super Mario Bros. 2 is the latest in the 2D Platformer series, where you, Mario, have to rescue the fair Princess Peach from her standard kidnapper, Bowser. You would think Bowser would've figured this out by now, don't you think? In total disregard for saving Peach, Mario decides he needs money for new overalls and power-ups, so he decides to collect 1 Million Gold Coins for some reason. Will you help him? Or will you leave him to face the IRS with Coin in hand? And to coincide the release of "Give Us Your Money 2" Nintendo has decided to release the Nintendo 3DS XL, for those who wish for bigger screens and a better designed 3DS.
Downloadable Content
New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be Nintendo's first worldwide attempt at downloadable content in-game, by offering level packs at undisclosed times and prices. The only thing we know now is that these levels are being developed after the game's retail release date.
