Whats better then one screen? Well two screens of course! Current-gen portables inside: DS, Lite, DSi, DSXL, 3DS...

I finished this game a little while ago, so I've taken a little bit of attention away from it, still working on fusing better weapons and the treasure hunt. But man, what an amazing game. It looks amazing, multiplayer is great, solo is fun, and there's so much to do.
I haven't really done a ton with the AR cards so far, but I do know I will want to try to collect more of them, for the sake of having them.
And I really hope that Nintendo will keep going with this franchise after this, in my opinion, success,
Spoiler:
and we don't have to wait another 25 years like what Hades said in the "secret" ending.

Completed a few more Treasure Challenges tonight. I'm almost done with
Spoiler:
Palutena's Board. I won't be able to finish it until I get 30 Weapon Gems though.

Other than that, I'm still really enjoying it, as it's the only thing I've played for more than 30 hours on my 3DS (beating RE:R by 11 hours right now). I'll try and beat the final chapter at 9.0 Intensity tomorrow. I almost did it the other day.

I always have a small unhappy face when I see the types of challenges when you have to "beat the chapter without taking damage".

Spoiler:
I thought Hades was going to be in the Boss battles... And, does anyone think the Hades's Heart battle arena looks like a Bomberman stage?

I was thinking the same thing.

On a side note, I just finished this game last night, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying the previous chapters on higher difficulties. My average difficulty is around 5.0-6.0
Check out The Tails and Sonic Show! It's awesome ^_^

So I finally finished the game, but damn if there isnt a lot of stuff for me to continue unlocking. Damn shame too cause Fire emblem comes out today to and I once again have another game on the list thats gonna take more time away from my ability to focus. -_- I want those trophies! :P Overall I agree with Hades, KI is my new favorite game of all time, well at least from nintendo anyway. I really hope this is a sign of things to come from nintendo in terms of the new IPs department.

I mainly just hope that they'll look at how well this game did when they think of rebooting other older franchises. Startropics, anyone?

I am just estatic about this game, I was one of the people that when we first saw the 3DS I knew I was getting it becuase of this game. Let me take you back to my first NES..... A very cold winter night and my father when out to Childrens Place and suprised us with the NES Power edition yes that one, you know the one with the system one controler and a power guide of a bunch of games and strategy guide but.....NO GAME!!!! Hahahahn my dad then pulls out Kid Icarus. My obsession with this game began, and now it has come full circle with a very cool new eddtion to my favorite Nintendo Franchise. So far I am loving this game and I am happy with what has been done with it to bring it up to date with current games......

So how many references does the multiplayer have? There are like... a lot of in-game jokes like Floor Food to Chicken Bacon as in outside games like Barrelroll, PKFIRE, NES4EVER or even Captain N.

There's going to be some Kid Icarus: Uprising news on Nintendo Direct tonight. My guess is a patch for Dual Analog and Balancing.

If they do Patch the game I want them to add community features on par or better than Mk7.

I just think they displayed Power combos. The Counter power will serve me well but I don't know since I don't want it to accidentally trigger a shield.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
That's putting it nicely, i consider myself kind of good but it's wild at times. You will always die before a hot spring or restorative items. I find myself often running from battles that can be avoided and using instant death attack (Melee dash attacks are OHKO's) for battles when I'm on hell intensity. Great part is that if you get items and die on that intensity they aren't nerfed so bad. Guardian orbitars help but if I had a 6 starred one with dash ch. shot, backdash ch. shot, shot range modifiers and burn or ice modifiers i'd be in Angel land.

Yeah, the Kid Icarus talks on Nintendo Direct was only "tactics". They basically gave you tips on how to control the game because everyone whines about the controls.

Here's how I think of the game:

6.0-8.0 Intensity = Hard Mode
9.0 Intensity = Not Playtested Mode

The original game got easier as it went along, not the other way around. Plus, why do I have to beat a level on 9.0 Intensity without dying? I'd like to die once and still be able to play through it at that difficulty, because man I hate getting screwed over like that. At least I now know how to fight that boss on 9.0 Intensity (Don't use charge shots). Getting there on the other hand is the problem I have.

It's really cool that the AR cards are going to be sold on Europe. I hope that Panini brings it not only to the United States, but also to other American countries.

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to spend some more hearts to keep it on 9 difficulty after you die. I guess that would kind of defeat the purpose of the intensity gates. When I die I almost always die on the flying parts (I'm much better at the land battles even though that's the part that gets all the complaints), so at least I know early on I'm not going to beat it on a certain intensity. I usually turn the difficulty up one higher than what I want because I know I'm gonna die on the flying section. I usually go for 7s so I start on 8.
Spoiler:
I also have a huge problem with the dark pit fight on the level with Viridis General guy for some reason, I barely got past him on 6.

I finally beat Chapter 2 and 9.0 Intensity. It was a double KO, too. I don't think I could do that again, and I'm glad it's not a Challenge because holy heck, man.

This thread will be un-stickied on Monday at 12n. Just a heads up.

Well just got 16 more cards to add to the collection. Yay! That brings the total amount of AR cards up to 110. With which only 17 of them are duplicates. :3 Still plugging away at those treasue achievements. Beating levels on 9 intensity are of course the most challenging ones. But some also come with the added burden of beating it on a set difficulty as well as another added stipulation such as, within a certian time, or with a certian score, or with a set amount of hearts collected. :/

Wow, how did you get so many cards? I've got every card I could get my hands on for a grand total of 12. So glad they decided to not sell them separately in NA.

It's not? Whew, I'm glad, because there's a challenge in my treasure hunt that I haven't made visible yet. It's around beating Chapter 17 in 18 minutes on difficulty 7.5 or up, getting 300000+ hearts and other two that require me to play at 9.0.

Any recommendations on how to beat Chapter 9 in 9.0?
