I think it might depend on what demo is in the system. I've gotten it to work on units with any demo except Ocarina of Time 3D. The easiest way is to hold down the two buttons, then power it off, and usually the system will reboot itself, but if not just power it back on, and keep the buttons pressed. If that doesn't work, try it on a different unt, or just give up.

So you just hold down start and select, then hit the power button? I will try it out when I go pick up Kid Icarus.

Hey, does anyone know if you can still Streetpass people if you're playing DS games or GBA Ambassador games? One time I saw a guy playing AC:WW and even though I was right there with my 3DS, no Streetpass. I've also had the green light flash quite a few times while I was playing 3DS games in public, but never just DS (not sure if that's just a coincidence). Should I just avoid playing DS games in public if I wanna pass people?

So on Sunday Europe got Miiwata via Spotpass and today NA got Reggmii via the SpotPass for their respective Anniversaries.

I personally went with a Super Mario 3D Land Pink Piece to ensure that I'd have all of the Puzzles by the end of the week. I also got a Mario Kart 7 Pink Piece on Sunday with full intentions of getting one for Rhythm Heaven on Wednesday.

I got Reggie's Mii. I also got a new panel fro Donkey Kong and took a middle piece. I guess now people will have those more.

I myself choose a pink puzzle piece from Kid Icarus Uprising. I have every single puzzle piece panel currently available. (a few aren't completed yet) Today in college I just completely got all the pink puzzle pieces for the Rhythm Heaven Fever panel and the Legend of Zelda: OoT panel. I can't wait to see these in 3D once I get the rest of the puzzle pieces for those panels! ^_^

I'm seriously contemplating getting the last blue OOT piece I need the next time I get a Street Pass. It's getting ridiculously annoying to have that one piece not show up every time I get an OOT piece.

So today, thanks to Reggie, I started both my Donkey Kong Country Returns puzzle and Rhythm Heaven Fever puzzle (I used my "melted" 3DS to double-dip, haha! [I have two 3DSes])

So now I have every puzzle started. I finished New Super Mario Bros. Wii's puzzle since that's the only one I didn't finish that lacked any Special Pieces. Now I have to StreetPass like crazy to finish all the other panels. Besides the two I started today, I have completed every other puzzle in terms of normal pieces.

I'm also 80% through Find Mii II... I'm on my, what... fifth run of it? Thank goodness for the Hire Old Allies option.

So far I've now completed OOT, Star Fox, Mario Kart, Rhythm Heaven, and Donkey Kong. I have all of the old ones completed.

Just need one more pink piece for Kid Icarus to complete every single puzzle. Then my focus goes strictly to Find Mii II (at least until Mario Tennis or Fire Emblem or something else coming out gets a new puzzle.... )

Got a Pink Kid Icarus: Uprising Puzzle Piece. Only 7 to go I guess. Good thing I can get another one next week. Maybe an OOT Piece as well.

I went to Nintendo World last Friday, and they were having a Kid Icarus: Uprising tournament. I Streetpassed at least 50 people in the course of 4 hours and completed every puzzle ^_^ I've also cleared every path in the regular quest for Find Mii 2 and I'm about to finish my second run through the Secret Quest.

That reminds me, I still need to get the Rhythm Heaven Forever Puzzle, 2 pink pieces from OOT, and 1 blue piece/4 pinks from DKCR. Hopefully I can get those before the Zelda concert in May.

I just noticed for awhile something interesting while Streetpassing. OK I imported Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for my Japanese Ice White 3DS. I get done playing with it so I put it into sleep mode along with my US 3DS. The usual green light turns on so I open my US Aqua Blue 3DS and when I check my Japanese Mii at the Streetpass gate to see what he has played it shows Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] in english words. I wonder if other Japanese 3DS games get translated to english.

On a small note:

I imported Mario Kart 7 awhile back and that game does not translate into english when I check at the Streetpass gate on my US 3DS.

I streetpassed someone from Japan, and their recently played game wasn't translated to English. I have no what he was playing though (obviously since I don't speak Japanese)

Just a reminder: There are more Kid Icarus events this weekend, mostly at Best Buy. Make sure you try and go for Street Passes, and at the very least, more KI cards.

I completed my Ocarina of Time Puzzle today, and got 1 more Kid Icarus Pink piece. Someone completed the KI puzzle today because I had the piece they needed.

Their is a Japanese exclusive Fire Emblem puzzle it came out the same day we got Mario Tennis open. Not sure if MTO is a western Exclusive however

The Mario Tennis Panel wasn't exclusive to Western regions. Japan got it as well as the Fire Emblem one.
I fully expect Nintendo to bring the Fire Emblem panel over here when the game comes out.

Yay I can confirm what @BroBuzz said. I have both a Japan and US 3DS and they both got the Mario Tennis Open panel.

I'm so disappointed I didn't get the Fire Emblem puzzle panel despite me having a Japan 3DS.
