Luigi's Mansion 2 - preview

Postby Chosenoneknuckles » 26 Apr 2012 19:38

Looking gorgeous as ever. :)

Still worried it's 1) not gonna release [in the UK] this year or 2), if it does, it'll have it's sales cannibalized by NSMB2 and or Pokemon BW2.

@FelipeGonc Me too. I'm a little worried, the company doesn't seem to be that good at making games.

It would be nice if we received some sort of news about when it'll release. They had originally said it would release early this year, but we're pretty far into the year now.

After playing Punch-Out Wii, I'm confident in Next Level Games.

Really looking forward to this game. I have to assume a late summer/fall release at this point...too long, but hopefully worth the wait.

Luigi's Mansion 2 - preview

Postby MrGameBoy » 26 Apr 2012 21:14

Am the only one who thinks Luigi's Mansion 2 doesn't look as good as the original? It seems like its dark yet quirky personality is replaced with unnecessarily vibrant colors and bland ghosts...

@MrGameBoy

It must be you, it still look pretty similar only now it has different locals besides just the mansion it seems, so thats why it seems more vibrant. I think you might be judging too much from what little weve actually seen.

Im confident in next level games after punch out, they did great things with it and nintendo will no doubt be watching over them like a hawk to make sure it goes the way they want it to along with their devs helping as well so theres no need to worry.

Luigi's Mansion 2 - preview

@MrGameBoy, I kind of agree with you. The graphics are more cartoony now, versus the original. It kind of pushes me away, despite how much I loved Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. It just doesn't fit the mood and gameplay.

Nintendo, prove me wrong! :)

I cannot wait for this. Luigi's Mansion was one of my favorite games on the GameCube. It was easy, short, and maybe a little lacking in variety, but it had an amazing feel, gameplay, and... Luigi~<3<3
