No, it was definitely the 3DS version. Everyone was upset that it was using the top screen to just display a graphic while the age-old "classic" game played on the bottom....but it might as well have been the DS version, which makes no sense on a system that's backward compatible with most DS games.

It really sadden me, because I'm a great fan of the originals games, yet I dread I won't ever be able to play something fresh in this franchise. :(
Hell, if the port would have been done correctly, I would have bought it, it have been so long since I played it... :(
I know, I was just hoping that since it "disappeared" for so long was because maybe they were actually addressing the fans disliking their decision. But apparently it didn't disappear, I just didn't realize that taking MYST-DS and adding a wider top-screenshot was going to take them this many months later to finish...so I was hoping they really were taking realMyst and making it actual-3D after all. Oh well. They're the ones being so lazy with something that's supposed to be a timeless classic...for that matter, if they wanted to do a lazy port so bad, they should have ported Riven and actually let people play that game again. I was only able to borrow it for a week or so when it was new, and that was no time to get anywhere in it during high school. Might as well make that game and its sequels available instead of rehashing the same thing every time.. :c
