I don't know why this game is featured so much here, it looks pretty sub-standard and its not even that pretty.

Well, it's the most realistic game i've seen, me thinks. Though, I don't care much for 'car games'~

Project CARS - more screens

I'm interested in it. The focus of this game seems to be more on community than other things.

@Hadrian

Because it is a WiiU game and RMC posts about anything somehow connected to nintendo?

Besides, for a pre-alpha game it looks phenomenal

If the wiiu sports some kind of tech that is lightyears ahead of a current gen pc... Then sure, keep up the hope.

It looks just fine, of course it will probably look better when it's finished... Eitherway, I just got a little more interested after noticing the positioning... 64 cars? for reals?

Project CARS - more screens

Postby ddddd » 30 Apr 2012 20:10

@CrispyGoomba
If you mean it because of the graphs thenselves, well its pre-alpha on a non dev computer.
If you mean it because of the art style, then there is no hope left because Ive seen comparisons with the real life tracks and they are pretty much like that.

Project CARS - more screens

Postby Battlestriker123 » 30 Apr 2012 20:33

It looks good. Kinda reminds me of TrackMania, though with a lot less chaos LOL. I think the Wii U could do better than this (looks like an average PS3 game) but it still looks good nonetheless.
Favorite Game: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA)
Just Finished: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (3DS)

Project CARS - more screens

Postby Darth Vader » 30 Apr 2012 21:58

It really doesn't look 'amazing' but it still looks better than most console racing releases considering it's being run on a PC. I'm willing to bet it'll look a little more conservative on cosnoles. Regardless considering everything else this title has going for it the looks are just fine. People boasted about visuals and atmosphere in games like Fallout 3/NV and the STALKER games and they look like shovel under any kind of scrutiny

Project CARS - more screens

Postby DonnyDarko420 » 01 May 2012 00:10

@Hadrian

It doesn't matter what a game looks like to you. That has no bearing on whether the rest of us want to learn more about it and whether or not GN will cover it. It's a Wii U game. It will get covered. Like pretty much every other game that makes its way to a Nintendo console or any piece of news that can/might apply to a Nintendo console.

Are you new around here or something?

Oh gawd...

Yeah, these devs should turn it into a arcade style game and dumb it down for the dude bros. :roll:

This is a simulation game. Which, if you didn't know, are much more cerebral and therefore tends to appeal to the more intelligent gamers. Nintendo fans consider themselves intelligent right?
