This just got dropped into my email from GameTrailers...

This Saturday, May 5 Noon PT, Wedbush Securities Analyst Michael Pachter addresses why Nintendo has not yet released any of the hardware specs for the Wii U and if it means it’s not ready to compete with the current generation of consoles. He also predicts when the Wii U be released, as games like “Assassin’s Creed III” are already slated for October 30th 2012. Plus, what’s does Pachter think about Google Glasses? Pachter puts his thinking tie on this week to deliver the answers everyone wants to know!

Oh boy, this is going to be one for the ages! I can't wait to see what Pachter says this time.

Predictions: He will say some stupid statements, some common sense, and some doom and gloom.
My answers for those questions: Nintendo never releases the specs of the system. I'm going to guess that it's powerful enough for next gen. As for launch, After september 1 and before November 30 is my guess. I would like it to be out by october though and it might make more sense sales wise.

Has Nintendo EVER officially released the specs of any of its consoles?

For someone who is supposed to be knowledgeable about the industry, Pachter certainly makes many uninformed statements. I guess ignorance is bliss.

It's not necessarily his statement, they probably just used the wording in the fan's question. He'll probably says that Nintendo never reveal them... at least I hope. If not, THEN you'll have the right to down vote it to your heart's consent! :O

But, remember folks, although his staff select which questions get answered, they are ALL fan's questions... so if we can tell something about the question he answer, it's that by the number of WiiU related questions he answer, I'm pretty confident to say that he must get A LOT of questions about it.. That means that WiiU gets talked about a great deal.

Like someone once said: "They talk about me good or bad, whatever. The bottom line is that they are talking about me!"
