Just beat it last night. Love this game! The final bos is extremely hard.

Spoiler:
I also beat Another Day. Also, I would have never guessed Joshua was the Composer. I thought it would be shades or something.

Momo, don't rush to finish this game. Take it at your own pace. It's tons better that way.

They did that, if I'm not mistaken, so more people could beat the game.

I'm actually playing through pokémon mystery dungeon 2 right now, so I haven't played it for like a week and a half. I'm actually excited to go back and play it because I know the game will be easier.

The Shutdown PP points stop after 7 days. Plus, they're halved every day after the first (So the first day you can get 144, the second 72, the third 36, then the fourth through seventh 18). Something like that, anyway. I never managed to go 2 full days without playing it...

i work 11 hours a day and have multiple game platforms. i play this game about once a week in between jus, smash bros, wii mk, and other various nintendo and xbox360 games. dont get me wrong i could easily slip into this title and make it top priority but i wanna stretch it out. for reference not bragging rights i have over a hundred this gen games. so while i always have something to play i have so much back log that i cant focus on one game. plus i get bored playing that way. i like having a stack of at least ten games that im currently working on. does that make any sense?

I just finished the game. It's very good, and incredibly unique, but it tends to wear itself out in certain ways. Anyway, while having to unlock the secret ending is going to prove daunting, I'm gonna do anyway.

I beat this game after 3 days of owning it, and it is definitely a breath of fresh air for the DS. I have not yet beat all the extra mission files or whatever, but I plan to sometime, so that I can know what happens with Mr. H.

I think I should go after the final area. I beat it today. I think I need to get to at least level 70 before tackling it though. I doubt I'll go for all the extras.

There's no point really to fight the bonus boss than besides to get a pin if you aren't going to try and get the secret ending.

I am in need of advice.I really like RPGs and I always enjoy SE's RPGs to the fullest.
However I simply hate anime and I am generally not a fan of Japanese culture.

Should I try this game or not?

this game is all about customization. the reason i enjoy it so much is because of its style and combat system. so to the previous poster i would say if your more of a traditional rpg player then this title might not be for you. i personally love this game.

Hmm.. Tough call. A lot of the game is based around Japanese culture, but the game itself is really fun. Battling in the game is amazing. It takes a while to get used to though.

If you hate Anime and aren't a fan of Japanese culture, maybe you shouldn't try it. You posted this a month ago, so maybe you already made up your mind. I'd recommend Game Trailers' review of the game. They describe the game better than I can: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33491.html

Postby Neo Stead » 04 Sep 2008 04:14

I recently got the game and found it addicting. But as I was cruising the net on where to find and buy the Pins used in the game; I find a old thread to..well...here about it.

So..seeing that I'm pretty new to the forums and my love for The World Ends with you brought me here on my search for Pins...can anyone please direct me to where I can get them?

Okay, in TWEWY there are a number of different ways to obtain pins. I'm not sure how far you are in the game but most of the shops you encounter will stock a pin or two. By befriending the shop assistants (by buying stuff) you can also unlock new pins and threads (clothes). More and more pins will go on sale as the game progresses.

Aside from shops you can also get pins from enemies. This is probably the best way as you can not only find some of the best pins but you can also level up a bit in the process. By setting your difficulty higher (more difficulties will be unlocked as you go through the story) better pins will be dropped by enemies. You can raise the chance of pin drops by altering your level (lowering it). Some noise will drop money pins, some battle pins. Just fight around a bit.

It'll come to you eventually.

Err...well I know how to get the Pins in game (well some of them). But I was kinda asking where I would get them in RL cuz I think some of them look pretty sweet.

I guess I should have been more clear...sorry for the misunderstanding folks.

Ah, haha. Sorry.

Funny, RMC posted recently about someone who has made all of the TWEWY pins himself. Here's a link to the picture:

Assuming you don't want to have to make all the pins (like that guy) yourself, I just did a bit of googling and found this for you. http://www.cafepress.com/losttrap/
Hope it's helpful. :D
