Konami hosting another pre-E3 show

Konami is once again going to hold another pre-E3 event. The last time they did this, we got an hour-long video with interviews and announcements. I'm guessing the same thing will happen this year.

This year's 'event' should take place on May 31st/June 1st. Hopefully we'll find out what that Contra tease was all about now!

We better get some serious updates on the status of the long ago announced Contra 3DS and see what was up with that Contra trailer which isn't to my knowledge related to the handheld announced Contra. Either way, Contra love has been seriously lacking and long overdue. Nothing short of a firm release date and gameplay footage will do this time.

P.S. - Throw in a new handheld 2D Castlevania while you're at it Konami.

If they got WayForward to do Contra 3D with 2D pixel art I'd be so stoked. Mighty Switch Force style.

It's been like two years since Konami has said ANYTHING about Contra 3D.
