Anyone else think they are kinda slow with these Nintendo Selects? I figured we'd have the third or fourth batch by now...

I would've thought they'd put out Wario Ware Smooth Moves out in North America by now, considering it released in Europe last year.

I expect it in the next batch. I'd like to get it - WarioWare GBA from Ambassador program was my first, and I LOVED it. I'd love to try the Wii one and Twisted, which is apparently the best one.

I went to Walmart yesterday to get Pikmin 2, but it was no where in sight. I asked my friend about it, who works there, and he couldn't find any copies. A similar thing happened when I wanted to get Super Mario 3D Land on launch as well. I guess I'll wait a bit and go back, or try somewhere else entirely. Although, Walmart is the closest and most convenient for me. I guess there is always Amazon, but they are sold out right now.

I went to pick up Pikmin 2 yesterday at my local Game Stop they said only 3 Stores on the planet have the game 2 in Texas and one in South Carolina. Only one store in Texas has the Nintendo Selects version of Mario Power Tennis. You'd think in order to build hype for Pikmin 3 they would have more copies of Pikmin 2 available in the States...

Got an e-mail from Nintendo: Brawl is $30 and Epic Yarn has dropped to $20.

Not Nintendo Selects, sadly. Still good prices though.

Got Pikmin 2 today in my nearby Best Buy, ordered it yesterday to make sure I got a copy for today. Just finished day 3... man, I love Pikmin 2 so much. If Pikmin 3 is half as good I'll probably love it too. Worth the $40 I paid last year, more than worth the $20 I paid today. Truly a magical game. :)

Hope that Nintendo doesn't kill off the Nintendo Selects brand after these two, I would love to see it continue with the WiiU. Nintendo Selects is probably the ONLY 'Greatest Hits' type brand that has genuinely great packaging IMO. Its so sophisticated and simple and out of the way, unlike most other types. Just don't start releasing them a year before WiiU's death ;)

@Waluigi Does Pikmin 2 have the reversable cover?

Sadly, no. The Nintendo Selects box is nowhere near as loud, spacious, and unappealing as the NPC boxes were, so its not that terrible. I would have preferred a reversible cover definitely, but it isn't too bad. Personally, I think the border goes really well with the artwork, but ymmv of course.

The spine at least has almost no BS on it like most Greatest Hits type boxes tend to have (just a little coin on the bottom that isn't too noticeable)

I'll definitely have to pick up Pikmin 2 sometime. Think I'll wait for one of those "buy X, get X free" sales, though, like I did with Galaxy and Super Paper Mario.

Really? I think the red PS3 greatest hits packaging looks cooler than the regular cases. I guess that's highly subjective, though.

Picked up Pikmin 2. I would hope they add more Selects titles more often. I'd love to see Metroid Prime Trilogy, New Super Mario Bros Wii and Mario Kart Wii added. They added Brawl and how many more people can buy Kart and NSMB anyhow?

They should totally release all those Japanese games that never made it to US on Wii under Selects $20.

Brawl, DKCR and KEY weren't added to Nintendo Selects for whatever reason.

It would be if they didn't have the obnoxious red boxes that stand out in a bad way IMO.

Nintendo Selects are the best because they fit in with the rest of your collection almost perfectly, aside from a little image at the very bottom of the spine.

There's already one going on for Nintendo Selects games at Kmart this week, I believe.

Toys R Us has 'buy 2 $20 Wii games for $30 total' sales this week as well.

I'm done with Day 3, and have over 2200 pokos collected. Some day I'll try the 9-day challenge.
