NeoGaf isn't very productive in much of their discussions either. Lots of running around in circles without trying to connect some dots.
Example:
Post 6: Miyamoto is making a new IP
Post 13: Retro might be making a new IP
Nobody posts saying 'hey, these might be one and the same.'

Well that's silly.
Of course they wouldn't be the same. Miyamoto has already said he's going to be focusing on working with the new blood on small but important projects.
