Pokemon with Skyrim/Oblivion gameplay. Imagine being able to run around in a full 3D world filled with pokemon and trainers you can battle. You could also have different sidequests given by guilds (Fire pokemon guild, grass pokemon guild, etc.) and a storyline of stopping Team Rocket from their evil deeds.

Instabuy if it comes out.

Something like that could happen on the 3DS someday in the future but I doubt the guild part

I wouldn't mind a "Nintendo All-Stars Racing" type game. Don't slap non-Mario related characters into Mario Kart (or bikes for that matter), but I'd be totally fine with a racing game like the one Sega made, where you have a FEW Mario racers and Mario themed tracks (with actual Mario themed music, thanks), along with Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, F-Zero, Star Fox, Earthbound, Animal Crossing, etc. racers and tracks. That'd be swell, and if done right, could be cool.

As for Star Fox, I want to see it left alone, with NO crossovers for a serious game. However, what I WOULD love to see in a true SF64 sequel, is a game with an epic story, wherein you can choose to play as either Star Fox OR Star Wolf. THAT would be amazing. Two story paths, that cross each other at various points, having something where they're forced to team up at the end, perhaps. That would be bad ass.

If you're comparing it to SEGA All-Stars Racing:
Actually most of the characters in the Sonic Universe are there, at least the ones people remember the most, which are 7, PLUS Metal Sonic in the PS3 and 360 versions. And if you think about it, most of the important characters in the Mario Universe have their own series as well: Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario... so it basically throws away your idea of having few Mario racers... unless you're thinking of characters that have like no real significance in the whole series but they appear in every multiplayer game like Petey Piranha, Metal Mario, that Wiggler turned into Flutter, Queen Bee, the Koopa and Paratroopa...
Sorry it was just something I wanted to throw in.

I meant the general idea. I own Sega All-Stars Racing, so I know what you're talking about. If you ask me, they put TOO many characters from Sonic in there...I mean...Big the Cat?

However. To clarify what I meant, I'd include: Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser, that's about it. You're right, Yoshi and Wario would probably be included because they have their own games, but NO WaLuigi, or any characters from those games other than those two. I'd include Donkey and Diddy Kong. And then from there, probably Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Link, Zelda, Gannon (the original version, not GannonDORF, just for fun), Samus, Ridley (a smaller version of him, so as not to be ridiculous), Pit from Kid Icarus, Captain Falcon from F-Zero, Ness from Earthbound, etc.

I'd probably include a few more obscure characters for fun, like the dude from Mach Rider, Mike from Startropics, Little Mac from Punch Out, Starfy, stuff like that, to fill out the roster. But the MOST important thing, would be to have some fantastic, fully fleshed out tracks that actually resemble the game worlds the characters are from.

On a different note, I really like my Star Fox idea, what with choosing to play Fox or Wolf and all. Too bad it likely will never happen. :(

What could be really cool with the StarFox/StarWolf angle would be a sort of Counter-Op mode.

Each player takes turn playing as StarFox and StarWolf teams, and they're each out to get Andross. What makes this CounterOp is the fact that you are trying to hinder your opponent while taking out the important targets. This could work on a stage-by-stage basis, or it could be along the lines of picking more strategic missions to go on before your opponent does (Taking out an enemy space station would count for more than taking a barren planet back). For the latter, you could do things to mess them up while they're playing, such as jamming their radar with the UPad or sending some of your AI squadmates to attack the other team. If your opponent dies during a mission, you can attempt to complete it, giving you credit for it.

I could definitely see a crossover with F-Zero and StarFox, especially because it's already happened to a small extent. The game mechanics wouldn't mesh well, but I could see a decent storyline between the two characters where they team up to bring down a criminal threatening the galaxy. Maybe Deathborn and Andross could team up.
I FEEL ASLEEP!!

I'm still not keen on any Star Fox crossover. But I would love to see an F-Zero game that had a story mode that involved both racing, as well as some action/beat 'em up missions where you actually get to play Captain Falcon as a bounty hunter. Just so long as the racing isn't as goddamn hard as GX. Damn that game was merciless. lol

Super Mario Bros. 2-type game, with Mario, Luigi, Toad (just one, no clones), and Daisy on their way to save Peach, because she's useless like that.
It could also be 4-players, like New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
I don't know why Nintendo won't go back to the Doki Doki Panic/SMB2 style when I thought it was fun. Today, it'll be seen as another "fresh" idea since it hasn't been used in a looooooooooooong time.

If not this, then a Nintendo pro wrestling game made by the same folks that did WWF No Mercy/Ultimate Muscle/Def Jam.

I honestly wouldn't mind that Mario 2 idea. I've always really liked the game, I felt that "the real Mario 2", aka "The Lost Levels", was just an overly, sadistically hard hack of SMB1. I think the SMB2 we got was the better game.

We need to see a return of Wart. I still don't know why they don't include him and Mouser in Mario Kart. Great characters.

Animal Crossing VS Pokemon = Poké Crossing

you can go to city hall and register as a trainer and buy pokeballs and supplies from tom nook. On the way to the island, Kapp'n can lend u a rod to catch magikarp. You can catch different insect, ocean, and land pokemon at diff times of day or night. Flying pokemon can be shot at with arrows, triggering a fight. other residents become competing rangers. you can make any pokemon into pets who wander around your house or accompany you around your town. the museum opens a new pokemon research wing and asks for pokemon specimins in an attempt to catalog all of them. the observatory reports sightings of strange pokemon that seem to distort space and time. Mister Resetti complains that digging pokemon have created a vast maze of interconnected tunnels under the town, and now creepy pokemon are moving in. A reclusive new resident moves into town and rents a spooky mansion that had formerly been off limits and it's full of ghost pokemon. etc. These two series could cross over very easily and naturally.

Animal X'ing VS Pokémon VS Dragon Quest = Poké X'ing Quest

As above, but also add in DQ monsters, slime residents, and a slime-shaped Goopermarket (as in supermarket) that tries to compete with tom nook by selling DQ furniture, items, and clothes. On a more morbidly humorous note, you could do:

Cooking Mama VS Pokemon = Cooking Mama: Pokéliciousness

All of Mama's recipes include pokemon, and the reason you are trying to catch them is so that Mama can develop new recipes for her new Pokémon cookbook. The game could also have lots of inside jokes insinuating that Mama was actually Harumi Kurihara of the NHK program Your Japanese Kitchen. Her agent could be a smooth talking slime who tells her that if the book becomes a bestseller, Mama's TV producer husband will probably put her on TV in her own Pokémon cooking show.

How about a Mario and Sonic platformer? No one cares about Olympic Games! Also that SMRPG+Mother thing sounds like a good idea to me. Mother fan or not, you gotta admit it's pretty bullshit how we haven't gotten anything Mother since before the original Smash Bros. came out, so anything would be nice.

A lot of these ideas sound weird... >_>
