No, it is not an official test, but it is one of the best I could find. It seems to be fairly accurate, so I thought it would be interesting to see how other members compare. A score of 100 is average. The test itself consists of 39 questions with increasing difficulty. You get 40 minutes to complete the test, but that should be ample time for most. Don't be shy to share your results.

118, it was all pattern recognition though. Tests like this that I've taken in the past had math and word problems. There were a few at the end that I would have needed 20 minutes and a sheet of paper for.

That's kind of cheating, it's like playing a dungeon in Zelda, then playing that same dungeon again. You know the solutions you figured out the first time and you can spend more time focusing on the ones that you didn't understand the first time through.

I finished the test in about 20 minutes last night, and it took me about the same amount of time to finish my serious and focused attempt. Also, I didn't memorize anything last night, and even if I wanted to, it wouldn't have helped. I didn't know which ones I got right and wrong last night anyway. I just wanted to see how I would do when I could focus more, and as a result, my focused score was higher.

IQ? Oh, come on. Online IQ tests are usually a feel-good thing that inflate your answers to whatever makes you want to investigate more into their services. I've had IQs ranging from 129-170, and I'm nowhere near that intelligent.
