I've heard that joke before, and it's not that clever. The logic falls apart if you have basic knowledge of the English language. The definitions of 'power' used in postulate 1 and 2 are completely different; one is synonymous with authority, dominance, influence, omnipotence, etc., whereas the other is a scientific term describing the rate of energy transfer (or transformation)
